And to think there were some fans saying GVB is an upgrade on Stevie Gerard - wonder what they're thinking now.
There's no way we would have lost that in such a manner under Gerard and Michael Beale.
At least under Gerard, he knew his strongest 11, there was a plan, players knew what they were supposed to be doing.
GVB is turning us into a defensive team with this tactic of sitting off the opposition and is undoing what Gerard built.
It would seem everyone with the exception of GVB knew they would come flying at us tonight.
Will he learn anything from tonight or will we see Bassey at CH again. We looked more assured when Balogun came on - imagine that, a CH looking comfortable playing at CH. Ryan Jack, if fit needs to play.

Another point is Gio likes us yo play out from the back as did Gerrard. Thing is, teams have got wise to this and close us down very quickly causing Rangers to give the ball away. We are really struggling to play this way. Time for a tactical change Gio.

Sweep you mention the 1-0 games. Why is it that we Gio has no clue by winning games 1-0? I assume you think the same as Ange as he has been winning games by one goal for the last few weeks? or is it that if we win a game by one goal it is a shambles but okay for them?

Even under Gerrard this team does not batter teams.

We have been poor since the break. Before the break the majority were optimistic with what Gio has done.

You say he is clueless? Did you see how he won the league in Holland against the Ajax team that was at the time.

What I would say is that we beat them at Parkhead in 2019 and then had a terrible run. We also beat them twice in Gerrard first season and lost the league by eight points. Winning Old Firm games does not mean you win the title. There are 14 games left, we may lose the league but we may also can go on a run with our best team. We have to play them twice still, once at Ibrox. Its not over.

Personally I sympathise with GVB. He must have wondered what have I done after the first couple of games seeing what he inherited and realised why Gerrard had jumped ship. The team is stale and it has been for most of the season. Our recruitment Policy in the summer of bringing in free transfers when we should have been strengthening, failing to move players on and using the money to improve the team. It hasn't got any better, recalling Itten rather than bringing in a quality player that can complement Morelos and lead the line in his absence and then three loan signings. We are now all pinning our hopes on Ramsay but how long will it take him to get match fit! And in the summer we lose him and we are back to square one.
If we do not win the league this Season the Board has to carry a lot of the blame!

Got to say we are clueless tactics wise, fullbacks do not know how to defend against teams that attack us on flanks. not all there fault as no cover from MF. we need to reassess and go again,
