It's sad reading some posts on here and other sites were now arguing over the amount of money aribo has gone for 6m or 10m when we should be talking about new signings coming in the point being we're all interested in how much money we have or can spend.

Its extremely sad some of the comments people with blue tinted glasses on. Not seeing why aribo would want to leave rangers for EPL side and treble his wage.

It's quite simple for me guys regarding joe aribo or any player at rangers for that matter! If they want to go sell them and obviously push for the fee we think they're worth ?I honestly think a fee eventually rising to £10million plus a big sell on clause, is a good deal for us regarding aribo, especially so he's in the last year of his contract and made it clear he wasn't signing a new deal and wants to leave, not to mention we got him from charlton athletic for a mere 300k! I thank joe aribo, wish him all the best at southampton and we move on!

Bang on the money, Coops. I think it's a decent deal given the circumstances; Wilson is operating with one arm behind his back as the player didn't want to extend his contract and could therefore leave for free next year. A big (in the Scottish market) up-front fee, potential for future add-ons and a hefty sell-on percentage is a very decent outcome for us, in my opinion.

Guys it is good business in any terms, 300k spend, recouped 10 mil …. It is 10 mil plus add ons in future sale air this was the other mob it would be posted out as a major coup…the media would be saying what a trading model etc etc …. for some reason some on here think it’s no a good deal… Joe was good for us, wish him the best and we move on….
