I don't understand gvb asking his senior players their thoughts on Morelos is think that should be his job alone, and his contract is being put on hold, i think we are going to lose Morelos better be a big striker coming in he will not be easily replaced Colak is doing the business just now but he is not on Morelos level as cf.

Not on Morelos level how? Everyone shouts about his European goals that’s because we play him every game because we had no one else. 4 of these goals came again st Joseph’s and the likes.

For me, this is pitting players against each other. We make a big deal of supporting players as fans. It is difficult to see how a 'team spirit' can exist when your teammates don't have your back. The 'senior' players should be at Morelos to encourage, support, chastise and do whatever to get him to do his bit. Unfortunately, we are devaluing a big asset. Do we ban every player who has started with a bad attitude in almost every game this season. Do we ban Jack and Goldson for ducking away from the shot at the weekend? Do we start Sakala as he shows enthusiasm, desire, joy and determination whenever he plays? The Morelos sending off may have cost us the game. But it was another poor lack lustre start that put us under pressure and led to situations later in the game having an impact. Maybe a public apology from Morelos combined with a promise to do better would have been a better way forward. Unless of course he refused to do this. We need our best players fit and contributing.

I'd imagine going into the biggest game of our season he doesn't want the players against him as it affects all of them when one of our best players is left out of such a big game so he wanted to know they are onside with that decision, he has been on a strict diet since reporting for training preseason as he was vastly overweight, kris commons was spot on yesterday, his sending off hung the team out to dry on Saturday, he left the remaining 9 players with next to no chance of digging out 3 points, that was bad enough but to then walk off laughing about it was completely unacceptable, men, women and children forking out good money at times like these to back the club and we have an idiot (with previous for it) smirking as he cost us any chance of a win, and some supporters still defend him? Unbelievable - he was laughing at every one of us when he did that, in the past he has been suspended due to stupid red cards for important games which potentially cost us trophies (semi v Aberdeen having to play umar sadiq instead, and others) he has been a good player for us and if he could be trusted you'd want him in the team although he's far from irreplaceable, he's scored important goals, particularly in Europe but will never EVER be a rangers legend, he has cost us as much as he's won us, legends are gough, goram, super ally, Laudrup etc not an overweight striker with a rotten attitude who repeatedly let's us all down.

Think fans are fast forgetting what morelos has done for rangers beeing made scapegoat yes he deserved his sending off but to punish him in this way and damaging the clubs chances qualifying for Champion leauge in process does not make sence should dealt with this a lot better than we have doesn't look good.
As for gio he clearly wants to play colak instead of morelos so we will see how that one pans out for us over season.

I believe asking senior players is bad management as it could end up with other players taking sides and causing a split in the dressing room just before a massive game, big gamble, gio could of took him and not played him then put him up for sale after tomorrow night's game.

Let's not go over the top berating Alfie who was a hero too many on Friday night he made a mistake but where he let's himself down is on not looking after himself and being professional also Gio was right on his decision and let's all back him and hope this can be resolved.

not one of us knows what going on behind the scenes, anything can be happening, including signing up or packing his bags,

only thing is certain , imo, he will never play with a bigger club and will never be as successful. i think that is a given and he ought to know that.

A fit and focussed Morelos is brilliant, he is none of those things at the moment. We don’t know what’s being going on behind the scenes, I would imagine that management have been trying to get him to knuckle down without too much success, the petty sending off when the team were up against it on Saturday was the final straw. I hope Alfredo is big enough to respond in the right manner, we really could do without this rubbish before such an important game.

I believe asking the players is good management and shows the squad are together and that they are prepared to pull a black sheep back into the fold together.

Gio brought the senior players closer to him by valuing their input.
They all know why he was dropped -not an injury.
How many would have been on Morelos side?

Bear, we need to do something about Goldson's repeat mistakes but it looks like he is asbestos -missing defensive headers, not challenging, list is endless.

For Me just because the senior players agree doesn't mean the other players will which could create issues in the dressing room, I would rather a manager showin sense and kept this to after the psv game then decided what he wanted to do with Alfredo i. e take him and don't play him this way not interfering with the psv game, so if the senior players backed Alfredo would he be going with the squad to Holland tomorrow?

Just my opinion guys have to agree to disagree on this one.
