the alfie thing is bugging me a bit, there are countless people on dismissing those with real concerns about his professionalism and recent conduct, anyone who has a view which even slightly wavers from total adulation is attacked

well, nobnody is supporting rangers in this, i certainly am

i think there's more to this than we know, alfie is not god and we have had far better players go off the rails, but not many who seem to be in a constant contract situation, the red card at easter rd definitely caused me concern about alfs dedication to rangers, i don't fall for the badge kissing, i want a guy who is occupied only by rangers, and at 35k a week that's not a lot to ask

i will wait and see if he is dedicated to my club before i put my alfie tshirt back on

this isn't an attack, its an honest estimation of what's happening, imo

rangers havnt done anything wrong here, has alf, that's the question?

Of course Buff has done wrong Tom, Gio wouldn't drop him completely for no reason.

Gio has already said that Buff has to SHOW that he is ready to play for the team. Gio said he knows what he has to do.

Its quite simple, Buff has to lose weight, get fit, chuck the petulance and sort his attitude. These have been issues that been highlighted for a few years now along with his attempts to work his ticket every transfer window.

People on here for reasons best known to themselves have chose to ignore the obvious for years now and attack anyone who dares to call Buff out. Well finally we have a manager who has called him out and removed him from the squad.

Like you I have no idea why he's hailed as a god or unplayable by many fans. He has no pace or skill, lacks a threat in the air and his composure infront of goal is comical most of the time. Don't get me wrong he has scored some crucial goals and at times he has shown he can be a good player but he is not irreplaceable or unplayable, very far from it. People had Buff valued at 20-30 mil and it said it would cost us in excess of 10mil to replace him. We have just upgraded Buff for 1.8mil with Colak.

I don't buy the badge kissing or the instagram posts either, just an attempt to take some heat off himself.

Its an absolute joke that this guy behaves this way and wants a payrise. He's not worth the 30k or whatever he is on just now.

Colak is now our number 1 striker and Buff has a serious amount of work to do to even get back in the squad.

I won't be putting a Buff tshirt back on, I was done with him a long time ago and this recent circus with him again has justified why I called him out a while ago.

Our club deserves so much better.

Sick fed up of his huffs, sulking and petulance and all the pathetic excuses that are made in his defence.

Colak is an Upgrade on Morelos that is pure and utter nonsense you maybe don't like him, but men that know the game certainly do, Morelos on top form there is no defenders can deal with him, Colak brings goals for us but an Upgrade on Morelos, wake up NeilMccann deary dear.

I've advocated on here that i really rate and like big colak and think he's a fantastic signing for us, at a bargain £2million?But i also rate alfie very highly and can't agree with you neil mccann, in regards to your perfectly entitled opinion of alfie! I think buff is unplayable on his A game and is and has been a fantastic striker for rangers mate ???I for one hope alfie takes heed from gio and stays with rangers ?.

I wouldn't say colak is a upgrade on morelos.
Colak has started the season of great but its far too early to say he's a upgrade. Morelos on his day is unplayable, if he could just cut out all the crap that goes along with it.
Gio has handled it great by dropping him, hopefully now he gets his act together.

Comparing Colak and Morelos is pointless, they are different types of player. Colak is an out-and-out poaching goalscorer, as he has proved since signing for us. Morelos has more to his play and can indeed be unplayable at times but the issue right now is that he is unfit, still has fits of pique and his attitude stinks. Morelos isn't a god, he is a Rangers player just like any other. No one player is bigger than Rangers Football Club. I hope Morelos sorts himself out now that Gio has marked his card but if he doesn't, it wouldn't be the end of the world. The trouble with putting someone on a pedestal is that it's a long way to fall.

Can't see anyone dismissing the opinions of those who have concerns but those who are gloating about his apparent demise are pathetic -IMO.

I don't believe that anyone has come on and offered undying support or ignored his current situation. It's clear that he has work to do to get back in shape (physically and mentally) and convinces Gio that he is ready to play.

If he goes to Turkey he'll be back with his tail between his legs in no time. His attitude will let him down over there and he will last a year tops. Rangers have given him enough chances imo. Remember that time we allowed him time to go back to Columbia and repaid us by missing his flight home leading him to miss a few important games?

James, Colak has scored 7 goals this season so that is an upgrade on Morelos for me. If Alf comes back and plays like we know we can then I'd be the first to welcome him back into the team. For now, he is contributing nothing.

Everyone seems to be getting caught up in who best Colak or Alfie, maybe we should be looking at fact both are good for us, let's get behind them . I know Alfie can be a pain but on his day, he can be a realy asset going forward as will Colak, but if Alfie does not sign new contract it time to take what we can get and reinvest.
