I personally don’t want Beale back it’s as bad as wanting SG back in my opinion I hope the board go for someone different as I think Beale will be a disaster.

It's too easy for some to say Beale will be fine as Smith, Souness and Gerrard didn't have any previous experience.
But Souness was given money.
Smith inherited a good squad and money.
Gerrard had to rebuild the full set up after a disappointing couple of managers previously.
Right now we are at a crossroads where the team needs a direction, investment and revamped.
Is Beale the man to carry all that out? I have my doubts.

Correct MPH a because it’s worked in the past doesn’t mean it will work this time. The majority on here don’t want Beale I just hope the board get the right appointment and we may all be wrong an Beale smashes it just can’t see it.

MPH correct mate, and the money they inherited sent us eventually down the swanny to the 4th tier of Scottish Football, we can't ever go back to that.

Highland bear your screaming for Knutsen. Be the same with him mate. Le Guen and Caixinha both knew nothing about Scottish football, look how they appointments went. I honestly don’t know what the answer is there are no names that truly excite me.

I agree, for me beale is the strongest candidate, he's been at the club before, so he knows what its all about, he's been in scottish football, again, knows what is needed to win games in this league, but there is something which doesn't feel right for me, as with some of the other candidates being mentioned. Maybe its just nerves knowing that we have to get this appointment right!

Storm I'm sure beale has his own ideas on tactics players etc and won't be a SG clone.

I am surprised at the number of negative comments about Beale to be honest. I heard at the time that he had a great rapport with the players and that is what we need to get some motivation and spirit back in the squad. Someone who cannot do that, and GvB couldn't do it, would struggle. But, he can do it and has done it here before. So, good luck to him. The whole system of management wasn't working and so they have gone for a young but proven guy. Proven to an extent anyway. There's not a perfect Rangers manager out there and I suspect that is why everyone is nervous.
