thought this was our best performance as a team so far, against good opposition. Any criticism that could be levelled possibly is no one on the posts at corners. For me Dessers still has to do more as a focal point in our attack, and possibly soutter has to be switched on for 90 minutes, caught out in moments in games so far which have resulted in losing goals.

Right and left back were exposed a lot but we got thru with a positive result like last year and we cans them away but everyone needs to be on it for 90 mins.

Agree slightly. Thought the 2 CB were immense. Tav needs dropped asap. They are actually covering for him. Sima scored a great goal but offers nothing but pace. I like Dessers and hoping he will come good. Matondo now needs a run in the team for sure. Still think we are playing the wrong system.

Goldson and Souttar were great.
PSV second goal if anything was a foul. Souttar got booked for a lesser foul but it was in the middle of the pitch and the attacker jumped backwards into him. doesn't make sense lol
Sima. yes he scored a good goal but. he was totally useless the rest of the game and gave the ball away every time he touched it. Even when he could have been 1v1 with their keeper and his two touches take him away from goal. He also let the ball bounce out for a corner when he would have only the keeper to beat.
Who is to say if it wasnt Matondo on the ball in those occasions that Gers don't score more goals.
Tav. love him but he is only playing based on his history with the club, not his current (or even last seasons) performances.
Borna. bombscare in defense, always leaves his man and gives us problems.
Jack and Cifuentes had good games, quiet and defensive, no real issues.
Cantwell was great. Maybe a bit too rough at times and lucky to not be sent off near the end but love to see the fire in the players.
Raskin covered every blade of grass again. good performance.
Rabbi came on and made a big difference again and so unlucky with the volley. hopefully he pushes on and gets more game time and thrives.

@Beale. I can see a slight improvement but that was our biggest test. We did well but the signings so far worry me.

Tav done nothing wrong nearly scored a goal that would see us win the game . Only real defensive mistake was by soutter again but somehow tav is to blame.

Raskin tav constantly out of position. Goldson over to cover both his and tavs space as picked up by ally about 40 times during the game.

Are you new to watching rangers obviously tav is out of position as our manager wants him bombing up the wing and scoring and setting up goals. He was unlucky not to score. Plus ally knows that kinda annoying him calling out how our manager wants us to play.

As1974, it was obvious that Tavs problem was lack of support on the right from Cifuentes . Dest and Lang were double teaming Tav all night and he can only cover one of them. Their coach had obviously spotted the same thing in Switzerland and played on it. Cifuentes let Dest run away from him all game. As for other players covering for him, isn`t that what teams do?

Don't agree with that WSL. Tav looks very unfit and slow. Goldson was coming across to cover him. You can't blame Cifuenties for Tav being poor. He's been poor in almost every game so far. You watch his passing of late. It's awful.

Alarming last night how many mistakes and loose passes we made during the game. not many teams have to be at their best when playing against us, as we will give them a helping hand. Must be close to holdIng the record for goals conceaded at set plays, lol. Lots of hard work ahead, individually and collectively.

Talking to a guy last night who put it in a nutshell. " i expect at the very least from a Rangers mananager to have the team fit and well drilled, to at least give us a chance to compete". Unfortunately i really couldn`t argue with him. !

Were miles off in terms of fitness our tactics are non existent and we're so so slow.
People are saying we shouldn't be entertaining McInnes Davidson etc with which I totally agree but does anyone think for a minute anything is going to improve under GVB.
I'll tell you something else rangers players are going into games scared even at Ibrox and I fully expect Celtic to dominate us in our next meeting.

On saturday myself and a friend did something we haven't done for years, we left the ground well before 90 minutes. Saturday was a combination of watching a team going backwards in every department [fitness, tactical awarness, fight, commitment }, but more worryingly for me is the speed that it is happening. Board, manager or players, i don't know who is at fault, but it is alarming, and has to be dealt with sooner rather than later. !

The boring football falls on Gio and his coaching staff.
The results and lack of fight on the pitch falls firstly with the players then Gio and coaching staff.
The lack of investment in the team falls on the board.
Put all this together and you have a mess.
I don't doubt injuries are making team selection a challenge but the football we play is dire.
I think with Euro success last season and SC win Gio will get the season. Can we afford to pay him off? 4 points can swing pretty quickly either way though. So board could be forced to make a change.

I agree, for me beale is the strongest candidate, he's been at the club before, so he knows what its all about, he's been in scottish football, again, knows what is needed to win games in this league, but there is something which doesn't feel right for me, as with some of the other candidates being mentioned. Maybe its just nerves knowing that we have to get this appointment right!

i agree to a certain point, although our results with celtic in the CL are similar, in that they have both been poor, i would give credit to celtic { can't believe i said that out loud }in the fact that their manager sets them up to go out and have a go, which is quite refreshing to what our manager does. !

Totally agree, the amount of times players dive in, on touchlines and in corner areas, when the opponent is boxed in and no whwere to go is frustrating, they must know opponents are just waiting for any kind of contact to gain a free kick, which in turn gives them an outlet. !
