Liked the manager's comment on young Devine last night, we are not even seeing him play his best position and the captain should be watchful of his position. Thought young Devine had another comfortable game and showed his class.

John mentioned the other day that the lad is even more highly regarded than Nathan Patterson. Thought he had some shaky moments at Pittodrie the other night, but had a brilliant game last night. Been very impressed by him. Goes about his business quietly and effectively.

Bankie I was at the game and Devine off the ball positioning was brilliant, he kept ghosting into position down the wing hence the cross field passing to him. The boy should be kept in the team, simples.

The lad also has a very good touch and can pass a ball well.

Sooner Devine replaces tav the better or we will lose him like patterson. Same goes for lowrie and Mccann. Some of the duds getting game time in front of them beggars belief.

Thought Devine has done well in the last couple of games and has really impressed me with his total ch, closing down and basic defending. Only thing I thought needed improvement was the final ball, but that will come and might be due to being on his weaker side. These young boys need a chance, King was handed a hard shift and done ok, now for McCann, Lowry and maybe Lovelace. Onwards and upwards folks. Have a great Xmas WATP.

Laudrup agree re Devine final ball, he does much better on right with final ball

Also it gives him something to work on in training.

Worries me that sometimes we expect too much from the young ones, they are going to have games were they struggle but some then start thinking that they are not good enough. Give the boys a chance to come good after they have a dip in form. I do like Devine and he does the simple things well and will get better as time goes on.
