Assisting the Assist.
The comfort blanket for those who's favourite might just not be doing it front of goal or actually doing the assist.
Some assisting the assist are in the right place at the right time for a 5 yard pass to the actual assister.
Others are producing a piece of brilliance to create the space ( Kent versus Aberdeen ) .

Watching the highlights tells me we actually play some excellent football at times - especially under Beale where we seem to have more of a purpose.
But we are also liable for the occasional lapse in concentration and can end up making it difficult for ourselves giving away cheap goals.

Nothing to do with favourites no doing well. Tavs stats are class yet no taking away from the fact the has plenty of pre assists. You’re just using it as a reason to try and slag kent. Let’s be honest Kent’s numbers have been poor since we bought him. That won’t change.

Kamara doesn't score, assist or assist the assister does he? He's played 18 spfl games this season and scored 1 goal, o assists and he's only assisted the assist 1. It's actually pretty woeful if we are being honest.

Only on this page we will be going assists of assist. It’s really is getting embarrassing. Who is using it to slag kent raskin? It’s the only thing kent has good numbers in .

Maybe teams should triple team up on him to stop all the assists of the assist ?.

I think the point was that its a team game and people can have an important influence in a goal without making the pass that is credited with an assist. The assist stat is a modern day stat that at times can be skewed anyway . If someone slips a pass for another player to beat three men and score or blast in a shot from 35 yards is that more important than Kents passes into Sakala and Morelos in the build up to our third and fourth goals at Fir Park. i`m a fan of Kent but can see that he hasn`t been at his best and should score more goals but I still say he will be hard to replace if he goes.

It’s part of the game it’s no assist the assist it’s called a pre assist. They talk about them week in week out on match if the day. Suppose it’s only in proper leagues up here we say it’s a pass lol.

Football isn’t all about assists and goals. Kamala’s a terrific player and when under stevie g he was worth £20m easy. Playing on the left of a midfield 3 with jack on the other and Davo sitting they were all immense. We can’t play 2 cms 2 is a walkover for the better teams we meet like Celtic and European competition.

This just proves that Kent is Key to how we play, between assist, the assist, assists and goals scored Kent is clearly a key player and vital to how we play.

We're all entitled to rate the players we enjoy watching.

We've all got our favourite players in the current rangers team but we should be getting behind them all!
Some of the continual barrage of slagging and degrading our own players especially tav, kent and morelos imo is way over the top and bang out of order OTT! Who needs celtic supporters slagging our players when we've got certain supporters of our own continually doing it and it's just not called for!

Sws i wouldn't say it's slagging them, well not with me as far as Kent is concerned am expecting more goals from a man on his salary especially a forward player, if he can add that from now on i will be very happy, he looks a better player under Beale but we need goals from him, he should be looking for double figures next season, but i have my doubts in him achieving this, we needs goals from everyone of our forwards players.
