Does anyone know who MB allegedly binned move for whether outlook, style play, length hair or what?

Of course no one actually does. It would be totally unprofessional for anyone at Rangers to release that players name. Lots of folk will take guesses based on who we have ‘allegedly’ been linked with but no one really knows (even if they claim their taxi drivers, post man’s, brother in law, works at Ibrox and told them) .

There’s no problem with MB having mentioned it, he’s merely making the point that player recruitment is a complex matter and that just because someone is a good player doesn’t mean they will always be a good fit. Walter Smith used to do the same and have personally conversations with potential signings as well and convinced a number of players to join us by doing that. He also made reference at points to some players not being the right fit. No one had an issue back then when he said such things. The only difference is in todays social media driven world every fan feels like they have the right to know every bit of information on everything and get annoyed or upset when they don’t. Folk should just be happy that we are being informed and kept up to date as much as possible in regards to player movement and accept that there will be some things that we just can’t be made privy to.
