just a couple of things re the talk about morelos returning.

i doubt very much that rangers would even consider handing a contract to a guy who treated our club with utter contempt,

tried to find another club constantly
never returning fit after club helping him
gi himself deliberatly sent off at easter rd when he simply couldn't deal with colak being in front of him
refused to sign any new deal because he didn't want to be here and believed he was a superstar sho would make a fortune, which is all he interested in

not one major club in al of europe wanred anything to do with him, and still dont

do yiu know what that means, it means hus reputation snd distinct lack of quakity us renowned much much more than his goals in scotland or europa league.
the experts kniw a good player when they see one, they also know a poor player too.

His bad points are very valid though whitehorse. All our great strikers scored a barrowload against the east end mob. something alfredo was unable to do. even missed a penalty . at the end of the day a massive good luck to the lad and his family in what is a very cut throat sport in modern times.

You only need to look at the condition he’s gotten himself into at his new club to see how much he downed tools at Rangers.

Whether it was attitude or other issues it doesn’t really matter. He stagnated at Rangers and arguably ended up going backwards.

Maybe got fed up at us or just thought he would get better than us only he would know but for those reasons I wouldn’t take him back now, regardless of how good an option he could be if he was in the right place. The minute he decides he doesn’t fancy it again we would be stuck with another problem.

Morelos scored more than 15 league goals in only 1 of his 5 seasons at us. Celtic have wingers reaching that regularly. don't refer me to the european record because in his time we won very little domestically and that's all that matters. A waste of space, unprofessional and a distraction we don't need.

Need to remember the rubbish he took off the media and other fans while he was here. He could be an arse at times and I'm not exactly excusing him not being fit but it must've took its toll on the guy.

My star, if he was as good as you say surely some team in Europe would have took a punt? Yes alf was brilliant in Europe and in his first 2 seasons in spl, but his last 4 in spl his best goal return was 12 not even nearly good enough, you said he would end up in one of the top 5 leagues and he didn't, who in the rite mind is gona sign a guy for £50,000 a week, that hasn't hit 20 goals in the spl in 6 years? The answer is nobody as proven. Not only is his lack of goals a problem, his fitness and attitude also. I said it at the time he would struggle to find a club and was laughed at on here. I don't like to see the way his career is going, he was my favourite player at one time. We need a striker that's going to get 20 plus goals a season, alf is not that player. Who knows maybe he will resurrect his career, I hope he does, but it won't be at rangers that's for sure.

He played a role in that team which had him dropping deep and playing similar to Bobby firmino for liverpool, his biggest strength was holding the ball up and linking up with mf’s and wide players he wasn’t an out and out striker hence his record in Europe and performances were so extraordinary

People slating Morelos ability n performance are having short memory problems.

Attitude and fitness problems. and lack of old firm performances is a good shout for people who want to slate himbut don’t slate what he was as a player.

il stand by my opinion of morelos bealy if thsts ok, i'm far from alone, tell me how many teams chased after him when he was free afain, went absilutely backwards abd believed he had gone beyond rangers, europe record scoter, give ne stein coisty gateley parlance dj jukebox and many more sny day of the week, what is kind of embarrassing is that someone like you can't see how badly he treated rangers and how utterly poor a player he is, there's experts in europe and beyond won't take him in a lucky dip.

From what I've heard from a couple of friends who coach with Rangers youth, I don't think PC is the type of manager who would tolerate Alfredo.

Personally as much as he frustrated me and I felt the time was right for him to go - the reality is that he is better than what we currently have.

The fact is Morelos was being paid thousands and thousands of pounds whilst throwing his toys out the pram and disrespecting the jersey. All the nonsense about players needing an arm round them etc etc just doesn’t wash with me - you put that jersey on you should be running yourself in to the ground for it, nothing else should be acceptable and that goes for a number of others still at the club.

Easy really alf was great then became very poor and was disinterested - always loved him at the club but was unhappy he downed tools and the semi against Celtic he was awful - had his time and unless he gets fit and fixes his attitude he will struggle wherever he goes ??????.
