ed just read dave king wil be making a statement on his rangers bid tomorrow after the liverpool game before he heads back to south africa i hope its good news

I realy want to be optimistic on this going through. if the easdales have a shread of rangers best intrests they will have helped. if they blocked it, i would hope our fellow supporters see that they don't give a dam about rangers or what the fans think. i would hope a mass boycot of home games comes into play.

I am 61 years old and been rangers daft as far back as I can remember and if the easdales block this then I for one will never be back at ibrox unless this sorry mess is sorted from elsewhere which I doubt very much

im 60 I have been Rangers daft as far back as I can remember I have had a S/T for over 35 years shareholder in both companies but i'm with you if this is blocked and the Easdales and Ashley remain I will not return next year sad as that is but enough is enough

Hard to say, I optamistic because Dave King was invited to return to discuss the matter further. I can't see King returning to go through matters further if there was not already some informal agreement from the larger share holders.

Well it looks like the brothers grimm have been told to veto Dave Kings move. I hope I am wrong but if not surely this has to trigger an out and out boycott of everything from matches to club stores to sports direct to mcgills buses!! But then again as a fan base we couldn't agree on the colour of poo so I guess we will trundle on at least for a while?!?!

King won't issue statment at the minute when talks are ongoing i would say no news is good news although i don't think it will happen in the short term

According to BBC website King is indeed heading back to South Africa but has made a statement about Easdale, his offer and Ashley. Seems like Easdale is to mull over the offer and Ashley didn't respond to King's request to meet. If that is the sort of man Ashley is we certainly don't want him to take control.
