A newspaper is reporting we might lose out on Danny Wilson are we penny pinching again? So much for Kings millions when we won't pay a free agent decent wages

Danny Wilson is a decent young player but I for one don't really care if we miss out. He couldn't wait to leave after a few games in the first team before so he went and wasted a few good years at Liverpool. Once decent season in a pub league and I worry he's believeing his own hype again. I'm not sure egos are what we need at this moment in time whilst we are trying to build from the bottom. Assuming he does join he'll want away again in 12 months time as soon as a team of English Championship sang-baggers show a hint of interest!

Hes a good young player to get for free if he wants away in a year then so be it atleast he'll have a sell on value it's a business after all decent championship wages isn't going to cost thousands and thousands of pounds but yet there's talk of us going for an "experienced" championship player at 35 who plays in the middle of midfield how munch do you reckon it's going to take to get him up here? More than it would cost to get a young Danny Wilson with a sell on value I would imagine

What makes you think he would have a decent sell on value? If that was the case surely the teams who would be interested in him just now for free , they are hardly going to wait till you sign him then pay millons for him . Even if he was the outstanding player next year he would be rated no higher than he is now .

Don't know what all the fuss is about with Danny Wilson as its said already he couldn't wait to leave us after a few games in the first team so why bring him back? Cause he ain't that good.

I said he would have a sell on value I never said it would be a decent one . If your getting a player for free any sell on value is better than nothing is it not? That's nonsense you can improve young players the lads got plenty of room for improvement

In agreement with most posters on here that would be great to sign him but not to be held to ransom. There are others we could sign.

Yet a newspaper are reporting talks are to continue with Wilson in the next 72 hours. I'm glad we are not offering stupid money! That's been the whole problem for the last few seasons.

How much do you reckon there going to offer the 35 year old to come from the championship in England? I can guarantee it'll be funny money compared to what it would cost to get Wilson

I heard the stumbling block is he wants to be guaranteed captaincy. not sure if that's true though

Warburton will have a proper wage structure and if you don't fit into the plan physicaly, mentally and financially then cheerio! We have spent three years moaning about paying thousands for hasbeens i'd be happy to see a few turned away. Like Wilson but if a deal can't be done move on
