At least if we make another 150k bid and fail we can put it to bed. Save having to endure the media trying to pass off "3rd bid expected imminently" rubbish as gossip each and every day!

Stop everyone speculating on signings if it happens it happens, I know rangers don't want to go down the same road as before on over spending but come on any half decent player from spl is worth £400,000 can't believe we can't pay that amount or is it fact we won't pay it, at least engage with the fans and let them know if we are interested or not, watp.

Worrying times if u ask me are we tht badly skint or dave king tellin lies weres ths 30 million? N we can't pay 500k for michael o'halloran who in my opinion is 2nd best in spl plus electric pace tht we don't have just now tell u wot dave king if there's no January signings expect protest out side ibrox callin for your head!

16.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 10:05:36
Barrymiddleton the reason were not going in with silly bids is because we are trying to get every player at the lowest possible price, its not that we can't afford it, its called being smart and treating the club like a business witch should have happened from the start, the reason were in the place we are just now is because we paid stupid money for players in the past which no Scottish club can do any more, I know king promised all this money but he's not going to throw it all in when we are playing in a league we should be running away with, give him time and trust him just now as he has got the club going in the right direction so far.

17.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 10:39:32
Barry I think your being quite negative, frivolouslying spending would just put us back in trouble, being smart with our signings and not being held to ransom is a good thing in the long run, and haven't we already signed the big Polish keeper and forrester in January?

18.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 12:22:02
Barry! protests outside Ibrox if no signings! REALLY!

I agree we are short in a couple of positions but even without further signings (which there will be! ) we will win the Championship! were you niaïve enough to think that we were going to spend millions upon millions (don't forget the money spent on the major rebuilding last summer) to get out of the championship! that's exactly the sort of mentality that got us in this mess in the first place!

We are in a building process and are going about our business in the manner we should have been for years rather than the frivolous overspending and ridiculous wages paid, even in the bottom division we had players on money 3 times the average wage of most SPL players.

I believe DK and the management structure are finally getting us back to where we should be.

19.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 12:49:05
We are not being held to ransom don't know why people keep saying that we have been told the price that's the way it works if someone came in for 1 of our players with a low bid we would be going mad! for the 1st time am starting to doubt King with the way things are going hopefully am wrong time will only tell but 1 things for sure his 30 million comment isn't gona go away he probably regrets that statement.

20 Jan 2016 11:54:30
Ryt fair enough but jesus look it celtic they have sum the best in spl gms armstrong allen n christie it just annoys me how we can't do it now i mean did u see wot o'halloran did to us at ibrox ripped and taught us a lesson he's the kind player we need young Scottish plus pace wich is frightening so wuts 500k c'mon guys get real here wot happins thn if celtic go and nick um like wot they have dun in the past? Cause if tht does happin i'll be walkin in the front door ibrox and will hand my season ticket over to dave king. _. Every fiver celtic put down we'll put a tenner more like its the other way now absolute joke.

Fed up of the realistic fans being branded negative. I always thought our fan base was not as small minded as the soap dodgers, but seems that is wrong.

And please it's ransom not randsom or random. Does your phone not have a sphellczecker. Haha.

Guys unless we start signing higher quality of players then next season will be a painful mid table at best. The club can't spend money it doesn't have, we need the promised investment.

Any honest/realistic or as some say negative fan has to admit that not a single one of our players would make a poor Celtic team. Only a few would make hearts or Aberdeen side. Performing in the championshipb doesn't make any of the top class it's what they should be able to do, if they can't then they are not good enough.

Look at Celtic- they have signed up most the young talent already and they have no interest in our current target as he would not get near their team. Hibs have signed stokes, who's record proves he is better than our target.

22.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 15:04:45
But for all rangers fans including myself it is worrying because we allways seem to be 2nd best to tht manky mob across the road how did we not go for mackay-steven armstrong cifti and even christie all young good players even in past we missed out on brown hartley robson mcdonald riordan commons and ledley aswell we tried getting and every 1 thm went to celtic how cause rangers bottle to give thm the wage tht they want were as celtic don't look at the scott allan saga pure joke aswell gers fan but ends up it thm? Were ah laughin stock now and are way behind celtic right now its just wrong but will be absolutely dissapointed if we don't get o'halloran plus another few young scots we should be getting greg stewart ali crawford kenny mcclean and ryan jack thts the kind players we need the best scottish instead of losin thm all to celtic dave king time to get finger out your arse and get move on for all our sakes.

23.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 15:36:25
Barry talking about those celtic players. Where is Allan? A bench Warmer. Where is Christie? Inverness. Where is ciftci? Second fiddle to Griffiths, maybe third if deilla plays Cole with him again. Only Armstrong is proving his worth. Where's mackay Stevenson as well? Signing everyone isn't the way forward just what and who we need.

24.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 15:37:44
I think we'd struggle to get the Aberdeen boys Barry, but there is some really good young talent in Scotland at the minute we should be targeting the boy Crawford from Hamilton is very good he's a gers fan I believe.
Looking at our current squad we need to improve the defence and get an out and out striker. The defence we have no back up at the fullback positions which is something I can't believe hasn't been addressed a commanding cb is something we need. Need a holding mid the boy Crooks from Accrington plays there I don't know much about him though.
A Football team should have 2 players for every position at a minimum imo.
I think we should be looking at Ali Crawford, Liam Lindsay, Mark O'Hara, Calum Patterson and Jason Cummings.
Could only see Hibs selling if they don't go up though.

25.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 15:46:30
Oh my God luigi how many times with this rubbish. A few of our players would walk into that team and I don't know how many times I've told you that players from low leagues in Scotland and England can be gems. Bloody hell the one of the best players in England was playing in league 1 last season. We don't have to spend big. We have nearly 40 goals from two players that cost less than 500k which proves my point.

26.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 16:06:13
Greg Stewart and Craig Sibbald are both good players.

27.) 20 Jan 2016
20 Jan 2016 17:37:13
You're right Campbell I've said before that before but if luigi said sibbald specifically wasn't good enough for us therefore we shouldn't sign him.

28.) 21 Jan 2016
21 Jan 2016 13:35:15
Same as above- ask the most sensibly minded non rangers fan you know and see what they have to say.

You can think I'm negative/talking rubbish/blah blah et all - but your wasting time trying to name call or make it personal. I only care what people who actually know me in the real world think.

All though I will say the number of times iv been name checked here I'm beginning to feel almost famous. Hahaha.

29.) 21 Jan 2016
21 Jan 2016 18:39:55
Well if you're saying stuff like that you're clearly an easy bite. I didn't make it personal I just said you're talking rubbish. We will romp this league with or without new players.

The only way anybody can tell if the players are good enough to cut in in the top flight is if they get a sustained run of games against them. I wouldn't count the St J result as it was a one off game, our team was still finding it's feet, they hit a purple patch around that time gubbing Luigi ' s precious Aberdeen 5-1 at Pittodrie. Luigi ' s other precious side, Hearts, did well in the Championship last year and apparently, having done next to nothing re strengthening for the top flight, are now streets ahead of us in the way that very few of our current players would get in their team. If you look at every side in the top flight (even Celtic) you will find that almost all of their players have been signed from either lower division teams in England or foreigners from poor continental teams that hardly anybody has heard about. It's where Scottish football is at the moment and we have to live with it. Are we top class at the moment? No we aren't, but neither are Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts or any other side in Scotland. Celtic are a step away from us at the moment yes, but the rest are definitely there for the taking. Really, is this current Rangers team at least not on a par with the Hearts side of last year? I think we are better. Look at where Hearts are right now. Are you saying Rangers couldn't at least be in 3rd spot at this time next season?
