I don't see why everyone thinks we should be running out looking for a new CB when Wilson leaves. We have Martin, Alves, McCrorie, Bates, Cardoso, and even Aidan Wilson who looked the part when he has had game time. I would much rather we had a better back up right back because Hodson doesn't offer much of Tav gets injured or is suspended.

I think the deal was agreed before we signed Docherty and the incoming cash from the sale of Wilson was used for the purchase of Docherty

Alves and McRorrie out for weeks, Bates young and will have some stinkers (we don't play Celtic and Aberdeen every week lol! ) Cardoso, jury still out.

Wallace can and has played centre half. I'd be really surprised if we signed another defender this window.

Unfortunately Gstq, Jack will be out for most of the season, however McCrorie has proved that he is adaptable and is only a few weeks away from returning so I feel he could also cover at rb.
