Bears and Obsessed Tims

My time allows me to post a lot less than I read. I am astounded by the fans that are just expecting results to change overnight with the new manager and the new board to appoint NOMADS every other day. Rangers are a broken club in every department, the team, backroom staff, corporate staff. Us rangers fans need a scapegoat so enter Ally McCoist!

When you lok at rangers back when they were first relegated they were only given a licence to play a few days before kickoff, all of our players left, we needed to get out of an aggressive league with a bunch of teenagers with no first team experience. He knew the fans expected us to win these games 5-0 every week. We all heralded his signings cribary, black etc. he was bringing SPL and serie A pedigree and experience. But now he gets slated for such signings.

Ally Aside, the NOMAD does not bother me in the slightest. We have 28 days to appoint a NOMAD from the date the previous one resigned. Still time, also what is punishment if this does not happen? We get struck off the AIM. Do we really need to be on there? No, infact by not being on it we might not be able to carry out a share issue but it also closes our club to charlatans. A NOMAD needs to be happy with the way things are run and the board are still doing due diligence on the club. The board also want to take rangers out of the front pages and back to this stuff being kept in-house with fans being updated on important issues.

Current team is a bit of an issue for most fans, again Time is needed for the ship to be steadied. Look for improvements rather than everybody firing on all cylinders. I can certainly see a sustained improvement in the team from the crap uni-dimensional punt tactics where every player was playing "hot-Potato" not wanting the ball. McCall actually took off a defender and put Templeton on (who assisted the second goal) The signs are there to state we are improving. We just need to remain positive and trust that the current custodians of our club are rangers people with rangers best interests at heart. Once they get to grips with the finances and see exactly how much is required and finance accordingly.
Hopefully we will start to see us keeping clean sheets, maybe we should put clark in defence he's the only rangers player who can win a header!

What do you call a man walking through leaves? . Russell!

What do you call a man that's lost his dog? . Douglas!

Boy your tag is like a mathematical equation and your long post almost as boring lol as to the NOMAD question it was King himself who said a NOMAD was already in place and ready to get down to business (read back all his press statements) so was he lying? Why no mention of when his nominated advisor will start work? These are the questions you should be asking the new men in charge.

First thing no one expected Ally to go with a team full of youth players in the 3rd division but should have happened was 5 or 6 young players should have been introduced into the squad along with the experienced pros. This didn't happen. Instead Ally flooded the team with players who were past their best. Do you not think he could have played younger players instead of the likes of Kyle, Perry and Cribari? Ally totally disregarded youth and as a result players like Telfer decided to go elsewhere for first team football. If we look at Hearts they played the young players in top league and it's paid dividends this season. They have a young hungry team who play good football and have walked the league. Also it must be pointed out that last season our youth team beat Hearts to win the Scottish youth cup a Hearts team which included most of their current first team squad. That tells me that must be some good young players in the youth squad but Ally never gave them a chance.

I don't ever recall anyone Rangers fan heralding the signings of Cribari and Black. N
Hardly anyone had heard of Cribari and not many Rangers fans were happy to see the thug Black sign.

We don't concede stupid idiotic goals when black plays as he actually challenges for the ball and helps the defence unlike everybody else. What do you expect a messi performance?

cant believe we have still got ian black back slappers its that kind of mentality that has held us on same poor par for last three years the guy is poor at best gives his all but he just can't cut it, no play makers in middle of the park is our biggest problem closely followed by dire defence

He's a midden, remember him trying to cripple big Jelavic?
Only good thing McDowall done was binning him.

I agree with your points, ally could have played more youngsters, he did play Perry and he was dire, he played Macleod, aird, little, bought templeton, played Crawford. I do wish we did keep telfer he's a talent. I know cribari as a lazio fan but any fan who done a quick search on him would see the clubs he played for. Black can be a good player. He's a little small and whimpy

L3mst3r. a heart felt post my friend however I unfortunately sense a skewed perspective which still plagues gers fans despite the carry on over the last 15 years or so. For example gers were never relegated but were allowed to bypass accepted rules to enter the bottom tier such as not having 3 years accounts. As for the NOMAD, its true no club HAS to be listed but it would be better in terms of corporate goverance. Mr King has made a lot of promises and I really hope he comes through with them but gers fans com. across as having blind loyalty, a trait which has brought nothing but pain. Its quite simply time for the plain truths to come out of Ibrox #nomoresecrets

MB 1888 Good post lad. Obviously a cousin from the east but at least whilst written with some relish, not the naked hatred of some of your fellow Selik fans but finally you are absolutely correct- well done.

Mb correct mate we weren't relegated as such, banished from football altogether and had to reapply for switching the licence. For talking sake, playing from spl to 3rd division (2nd but anyway) I refer to it as being relegated. But my perception is not skewed I'm niether pessimistic or optimistic in my views on rangers I'm realist. I take on board things from every persons views, take the facts from the paper talk and look at what people are not saying in interviews to find out what I believe to be the truth. I don't think corporate governance comes from being AIM listed, it comes from having the accounts published annually. I believe we will get a NOMAD but I also believe the board have found a number of onerous contract and dealings they can't make public for whichever reason.

I just want people to have patience. Dave Ming did promise a nomad and he will deliver but they need time to be in a position to fully understand the goings on and people behind the hedge funds.

That's just my opinion of course, he could have been bragging his way through the EGM but if that's what it takes to wrestle the club off the previous board then I'm happy to be lied to for the greater good as long as it's for the good of the club

L3mst3r and mannering, its high time the trolls that have plagued both clubs for decades got their act together. Everyone has a right to an opinion as long as its not tainted with bigotry. The relish you pick up on is with hand on heart no more than payback for the pre-mccann era and I admit its high time to call it a day. Good luck to the decent gers hopefully Mr King comes across with his promises HH
