on the signing front I reckon we should to what celtic did they virtually bought the cup by signing dundde utd players and have now done it again we should break the bank to sign scott allan giving us a good midfielder and weakening hibs

I can't see anymore signings until after we come back from Spurs, I honestly don't think we will go for Allan and W&W will want to see how these guys we have on trail do in a match, only so much you can tell during training. Just my opinion though

It doesn't seem we have the cash to make that happen.But hopefully we'll make a move for him in January and sign him on a pre contract.

Brentford reported to be bidding £750,000 for Chelsea midfielder . and Now Mr Warbuton at a big club is piddling about with Free's, Loans and players round about the £200K I wonder if he thought that would be the case when he signed on. Makes you wonder IF there is money available for Players??

I think it would be a great move to push the boat out and get Allan. BigWull is right when he says it would do two things: strengthen us and weaken Hibs. It would also post a strong message of intent as well as allay the fears of any doubters. Might just sell a good few more ST as well. A win win as far as I can see and the bottom line is he's well worth it imo

We are in the Scottish championship. we should not need to spend money on players to compete to win it, nobody else in the league does lol. Just because some players cost nothing doesn't mean they are rubbish.

Just watch andy hallidays strike against Chelsea and tell me there isn't atleast a chance he is half descent.

that as maybe but we need midfielders that have class law has talent but does not show it enough we need real competion for middfield places because that's where games are won and lost one of the statements boyd made was close to the mark in saying we did not create enough chances to score goals which to my mind was totally correct allys idea of punt up the park to daly nod down or lay off to someone never worked and last season was worse when daly was never fit I rember green made a statement that they would not be signing daly because of his knees but super swally went ahead and signed him because of the way dundee had carved us up in the 3 -0 game that we boycotted at tannadice there is a need to spend cash on some players and I beleive that will happen if not we will struggle
