Last post about my mates mates aunt was a bit of a laugh 😂 but in all honesty I do think that the team we have plus another 2 or 3 additions now or in January would be fighting for the league title next year. We are the people. Cheers ed for posting lol

Fighting for the league title next year! I'm assuming use are missing out on coming up to the big league then and your talking about the championship next year? Do u seriously think buying 3 Wigan rejects and and a hearts captain who took 2 spankings off the champs last year will havin u challenging us next season? Behave urself pal!

D**k head 88, you give yourselves too much credit. The signings we have made, plus a couple more before deadline day, then two transfer windows until the prem is more than enough to challenge in that league. Our quality isn't the highest but you really have to look at how the quality of your team as dropped in the past 3 years

Hahahahaa we aren't signing players of a worse standard to celtic mate. You sign Manchester United youth team rejects, randoms from dundee utd and a guy from man city who hasn't kicked a ball for years who no one has heard off, your best player Griffiths couldn't get a game in England league one last season our signings would have played in league one this season if not the championship.

Now I'm not for a second saying we are better than you because we aren't. I'm merely stating that with a strikeforce of chifcho and Griffiths, a midfield of "broony" and the guy from Israel and a defence of mulgrew and the boy from Honduras who can't defend. It won't take aslong or as much money as you think to challenge you.

Dh most of that Celtic team didn't exactly come from top teams Forster as an example was a Newcastle reject now look at him another example in Adam Matthews was just a squad player at Cardiff now playing in the premier league and playing regularly for Wales have a look at where your own players came from before you try to laugh about ours

Lets start with Jamesmac! The signings uve made and a couple more will be more than enough to challenge for the premiership! Use actually believe that don't u! Are u having a laugh! Like I said 3 Wigan rejects and a guy who captained hearts to a spanking from the champs last season! Add eustace,a guy who nobody wants down there and is in his mid 30s! Who still hasn't signed for u by the way! After how many weeks is that? God that's got us shaking in our boots! And the quality of our team has dropped,no doubt it.but it doesn't have to be what it was because there's no one there to challenge! And if by some miracle use scrape together some money to attempt a challenge then the champs will deal with it accordingly! And StuartAC name me one player we've signed who got relegated to league one last season? Manchester United have just went and bought the Italian teams no1 right back,so janko seen his chances limited! Boyata has kompany demechlis(who played in last years World Cup final by the way) and mangala who cost 30 million in front of him! Yeh that sounds just like the rejects use have got! And how is ciftci random? Was he not dundee Utd top goalscorer? And he not score against use when they gubbed u? And let's not even go on to broony! Buying pkayers from championship/league one is of a higher standard to the SPL and the premiership reserve leagues mate. Again, I'm not saying they are better players than yours but atleast 2 out of the 4 pkayers we signed had solid interest and offers from established championship sides. Your new full back from the Manchester United youth team went on loan to Bolton last season, played a handful of games and they didn't want him back. As for ciftco he failed in the English lower leagues, yes he scored against us a couple of years ago but from that team we will have one player in our starting 11 this season (lee wallace).
As I said we aren't better than you, we would be daft to think we were but going through your squad it will not take millions to be on par. If you think Griffiths and ciftco us a strikeforce that will install fear in to opponents you are sadly mistaken.

Sum valid points mate,but the point I'm making is this belief that the players uve signed and even a few more will get u anywhere near us is pure fantasy! I know use have got to look on the bright side and of course your going to big up these guys! But like I've said,if we had to invest heavily on our squad we could! Can u say the same? But we don't have to spend big to dominate in this country! And it will be that way for a few years yet.i honestly look forward to your challenge next year if use make it up,but I can't even see use being near Aberdeen never mind the champs!

Guys if you are going to talk s***e at least have a small amount of fact behind it , Griffiths played 22 games scored 14 goals and missed only one league game before joining Celtic in the January, hardly the actions of someone who " couldn't get a game " , who told you he couldn't get a game Charlie green?

Celtic can invest heavily if need be? If this is the case I'd be absolutely raging if I was a celtic fan and my board was only releasing funds for ciftci as our main man to get us into the champions league.
you aren't investing in the playing squad because Lawwell knows that losing £10 million a season with no rangers in the league (his words) and losing approx £15 million last season with no champions league and the potential to lose a similar amount this season if you fail to qualify again.
I have no doubt that not every player we sign will be a huge success but at the same time if we invest in the playing squad wisely over the next 3 transfer windows I'm sure we can bring in enough players who are of a similar standard to the players you currently have over at celtic park mainly because the standard you have other than one or two is rank rotten, like most celtic fans you can surely admit that.

But that's the difference pal,ur not a Celtic fan! And the 1.5 million while not being a massive amount is more than use will spend in this whole window! And no I'm not raging at all! Would I love to see us spend big money on players,course I would! But like I've said in my other posts,we don't need to! What we've got will win the league and one or more cups quite comfortably! And it will do for a good few years to come! And yes we would love to get in the CL,and I'll be gutted if we don't! But it won't make winning the league and cups for many years to come any less satisfying! And I don't know what Celtic fans u talk to but none I know think our teams rank rotten! Brown Gordon GMS Armstrong VVD lustig Johannsen biton commons! I'm sure that's more than one or two use would love to have buddy!

Armstrong and johansen are the only two from that list I rate highly. You conceded a silly amount of goals last season in europe with Gordon and VVD at fault for a few. Your only decent defender in my opinion was denayer.

I work with a few celtic fans mate and the majority are of the same opinion. Your fans have voted with their feet, attendances are lower than they have been for years.

As a celtic fan are you happy with watching bog standard players win a piss poor league in first gear with no serious European football to look forward?

We don't have to spend 1.5 million, who's to say waghorn for example isn't better than ciftci? Mind ciftci only scored 1 goal In his last 18 games from open play, waghorn had a better record than that in the English championship which is a far superior league to the spl.
