Nice to see all the Christmas banter on here! Things aren't that bad. celtic fans are petitioning to get rid of Delia and Lemon face has troubles of his own as well as being rock bottom with Bolton. As for Monday, I think we'll ram Stubbs' remarks right back down his green throat. My team for Monday would be:
Foderingham; Tavernier, Kiernan, Ball, Wallace; Law, Halliday, Holt; Shiels, Mackay, Waghorn. Miller, Hardie and Clark to bring on if goals are needed. I've left out Oduwa and Zelalem as I'm really not sure if they have the bottle or grit for a game like Monday's. Merry Christmas to everyone and the Eds!

Spot on doiger, Nicky law is key to the whole thing, we need battlers from the off to break them and can brink zelalem on around 60mins to keep us ticking over, then odowua to burst them when we are coasting 4 nil.

Under no circumstances would I have Shiels in the team. He lacks fight and loses concentration as we saw against Falkirk when he was at fault for Falkirk's winning goal. I am ok with the remaining 10 players although I have a feeling that Wilson will play.

As far as substitutes are concerned we really don't have a lot of choice but personally I would not have Clarke on the bench because I don't believe that he brings anything to the team. Clarke is highly unlikely to contribute goals!

I would be inclined to play Zelalem inplace of Shiels.

I like Shiels but he's best as an impact sub. Zelalem I think will have a better game against Hibs as there will be more open play than other games and more spaces to pick the passes.

Doiger nice post! Like to hear that feeling u have, that's a bit of fire in your belly, hopefully the team have that come Monday, I'm having a keegan moment here, lol BUT i'd LOVE IT IF WE BET THEM, a really would, but the run their on, and the run we're on, a can't see us winning, maybe a draw, which wouldn't b that bad, we'd still b top, I can't share your thoughts mate, but I like to hear that, too many young guys in that team that hasn't got it, great footballers, and there doing a decent job, but it's the nitty gritty now, and they aren't looking good at all, merry Christmas every bear, and also all the Eds out there, uz r doing a great job! WATP.

Think the team is likely to be as follows:-

Foderingham

Ball Kiernan Wilson
Tavernier Wallace
Halliday Holt
Waghorn McKay

Miller

Think he will play 3 central defenders, with one possible operating in a defensive midfield role.

Just my opinion.
