Does anyone think David Templeton has a future at the club?

Odds are he doesn't, but given the impact MW has had on all of our players, never say never.

Would love to see him given a few opportunities to come off the bench and see what he can do.

Would be like a new signing in March if he can return from injury and add something to our great squad.

Defo worth a second chance, think his style of play would fit well into warbs system.

He needs to be fully match fit and unfortunately time could be running out for him. He really does have my sympathy. Like others he was totally destroyed by McCoist and McDowall and we have seen considerable improvement in both Shiels and Law not to mention young players like McKay, so there is every hope for Templeton but I am concerned that time is not on his side.

Don't think so came with so much promise, he's just taking a wage now. Like so many other players can't take a tackle which is a shame I liked him but never progressed with us!

If we can get temps fully fit then undoubtedly the wee man has the natural talent to play for rangers, on the flip side we can't keep hold of a player who's injury prone which templeton has been thus far in his rangers career, imo I'd monitor very closely how he's coming back from surgery from his latest knee injury, he's a warburton type player there's no doubt about that, I was very happy when we signed temps from hearts almost 4 years ago now because I rated him a very good winger, an old tanner baw player if you like, I do think though he may be let go as his contract is up at the end of the season, I would give him a chance because a fit david templeton would excel under warbs!

He hasn't earned it and so no, I can't see him being given a new contract. There are about four of McCoist's signings still left who fall into that category.

If/ when we get promoted I expect I fall into the same expectation level of the majority of fans and expect us to win the SPL next season. None of this top 3 stuff and to do that we need better players than those remaining from the legacy of the previous management's recruitment policy. Lee Wallace excepted of course.

Heard he is looking to move abroad in the summer.

He wasn't destroyed by mccoist when he could manage a run of games he looked for us, but injured far to often, wages could be spent on someone else.

Fraser there's a high possibility we won't win the league at the first attempt but we will give it a go, I just hope fans don't turn on the board if we don't win it first year back.

Delboy9, from what I saw last night in the Aberdeen V Celtic game there is every possibility that we will win the league next season provided that Warburton gets the four or five players he wants. I reckon that Celtic will struggle to win the league this season and having looked at their new January signings they will be lucky to finish some games with eleven players!

I just hope that I am right!

Allan_6, Strange how he and so many others were injured so often during McCoist's reign as manager and the coaching and and everything else to do with those days was dire. I would like to see what he can do given we now have a quality coaching set up. If he can stay fit and show the qualities that he showed at Hearts then I will be happy. If not then yes, his wages could be better deployed elsewhere.

There's no doubting Temps has talent, we could never resign him on the terms he's currently on though, would need to be done on a pay as you play deal. I do believe if he's fit he would fit in with the new playing philosophy very well, however, I can see him going.

Too inconsistent and injury prone.
