Right fellow bears thought I would just gloat for a bit and post how our revitalised club, form, team, players, management, fans, (fans being the most important part according to the way the players interview post match, e. g. send them home happy) are going to do so much for Scottish football again, why? Because all other teams will be looking at us and learning how it should be done.

Double edged sword scenario, I would like us to be more secretive and keep the "good ideas" for ourselves. But that is modern day football with the media attention I suppose.

I think they have already learnt from Ann Budge and Hearts FC.

Waggy - Not sure we have a model in place that any other team in Scotland can learn from! We are currently dependant on loans from investors. Yes, these loans will be turned in to shares at a later date, however this will simply diminish the value of any future share option. We still have a very long way to go, although the signs are there of improvement, I would like DK to be a little less secretive and let us know what is going on in terms of getting into a share index and what he sees as a sustainable business model for the future!

I think your being a bit too lavish with your praise of the team. We are still in the 2nd tier of one of the poorest football countries in Europe and should be beating teams every week given the difference in resources. Maybe this time next year (providing we go up) is the time to see where we are.

Biffo, you are only as good as the teams you play mate. the fact that we are playing attractive, attacking football, and seem to almost have our house in order is amazing. I'd rather be us right now than most other teams in Scotland.

Hearts have done what Rangers would have done under King and co, that's what happens when a club doesn't get exploited and is run properly after administration, what Ann budge has done at hearts is outstanding and I don't think she gets the credit she's due out with her own club, on another note what a game on Sunday hearts-hibs, that should be a cracker I'm keen to see how hibs measure up against them as it will tell me a lot about were both Edinburgh teams are plus it should be a right good battle.

Let's not get carried away. Things are on the up but we still have a long, long way to go.

On the field we still need several higher quality players to close the gap on hearts, aberdeen and Celtic. The performance levels of the last few matches may be good enough to win in the championship but not in the spl. We might be able to challenge next season but fans expecting to win title next season are being totally unrealistic.

Off the field things may be getting done properly (at least DK says so, there isn't much information to back this up) but the legacy of the past few seasons will take years to repair- in the case of merchandise (among the most important) seven years.

I think with a few arrivals in the summer we wouldn't be far away. Remember the clubs at the top of the league apart from them do not have anywhere near the fan base or resources we have. I'm be looking for at least second place and if they keep Delilah on I'd be expecting to at least push them all the way.

Im sorry but for me only a handful, if any, of Aberdeen or Hearts players would come into our team.

In fact i can't really think of one of the Hearts players i'd take. Aberdeen, possibly Rooney, Jack and Shinnie. But the rest, too inconsistent.

They're being compared with what has to be one of the most piss poor celtic teams i've seen in a while.

We're not too far away, fear factor comes a long way too.

We have now played 2 spl teams - thrashed by a mid table side and frustrated by a whipping boys. All this talk of winning spl next season belongs in carstairs hospital.
