On to other matters for those who want a serious debate. As is evidenced by the big leagues in Europe desperately trying to find a way to complete their seasons. Do you really think for a minute that Sky and BT are going to shell out for a "null and void" season? What exactly are they paying for with no winner, isn't that the whole point?

Now forgetting the only 30 games played, in fact, if you answer, forget the whole playing side of it, the question is do you expect both broadcasters to pony up for a season with no conclusion that is deemed null and void and have you got a precedent for this that involves big/ decent money?

I'm presuming the reason the powers that be in Scottish football are considering an early conclusion (one I don't want myself) is because it means they could then award all clubs their prize money based on current standings, it is not ideal, in some cases unfair where there is a point or so in it and promotion, relegation, or indeed champions are impacted but right now I'm guessing 42 clubs in Scotland are feeling the pinch to a greater or lesser degree and therefore they need that prize money. They get nowt if the season is null and void, that is only common sense.

Now I appreciate the average Rangers fan has the fiscal concerns and responsibility of a colony of frogs, in other words you reflect your own board, but surely some of you must appreciate null and void hurts Rangers more than 40 other teams in Scotland in monetary terms? Last season second place paid £2.4m and right now I think that would come in pretty handy, no?

Your desperation shines clear gazo, what will be will be. Colony of frogs dear oh dear look inwards mate c%lt*cs solution is "award us the title and relegate Hearts", a lot of thought went into that Eh? And don't worry about us, we'll be fine.

Gazo, why haven't you posted a single coment on the Celtic pages? Not one. Are you another one who creates profiles to come on here and talk about Rangers?

Good God, starts of with the serious debate comment and then rambles into the usual single fish we expect from the Tim's!
No mention of your OWN club being the first to accept the Tory Furlough but giving it the big I am with huge donations to the NHS and local community projects but you can't even pay your own staff?
And if we take the early tainted unearned title award to Celtic then no more games will also be played. So exactly what are BT and Sky also paying for?
We all realise you don't get the chance to debate on your own site because you've all got a love fest lock-in going on down the imaginary pub but you must try a lot harder than that! 😘🤬🤡.

Gazo get a grip man. Even if the season was to be declared null and void then BT and SKY would surely still have to pay the SPFL for the games they have shown up until now as millions of subscribers have already shelled out,
Do you really think that BT and SKY should not pay for the games already shown?

C_of_Ibrox I've been in this site most likely longer than you have, check my profile.

MrTupacman under the current circumstances, the endless speculation and most definitely in the week King moves off the board do you really think Rangers mentioning any requirements of cash would be a topic for discussion? Think out of the box, it doesn't matter how much Rangers are or aren't hurting, that was NEVER getting mentioned before other clubs did so. Also bear in mind with Celtic actually being on the stock market we are duty bound to inform shareholders of such potential things, Rangers despite many promises to do so still are not on any stock market and therefore do not need to. Bet you didn't think of it in those terms eh?

Jetmayfair this "surely" you talk of comes with what certainty? I'm guessing just a big bag of wishful thinking and not a hint of legal confidence. This is why the big leagues are so desperate to get their season completed for failure to complete it will lead to massive loss of TV income, £762m repaid back in England alone, our's is relative but would still impact all clubs in Scotland. It doesn't matter what I think BT/ Sky should do, the question is have we (SPL) fulfilled their side of the contract, the answer is no.

The floor is open, tell me how you get the TV money that hopefully sees all Scottish clubs make up for their shortfall while declaring the season null and void? Bear in mind we know English clubs are having the very same issues with the very same broadcasters.

Hi Gazo I'm a Rangers fan, right now I could care less where the league title goes, we blew it ourselves after the break, with things as they are and personal crap it's irrelevant. If you want to celebrate being gifted the title by anyone bar us good luck to you.

Gazo the £35m you were bragging that Celtic have in the bank won’t even touch the sides when the fees come calling.
