It has become apparent that The Rangers Football Club - established in 2012 from the remains of the now-defunct Rangers Football Club (1872), is using state-of-the-art performance-enhancing drugs on its playing squad. Its predecessor had a well documented history of financial doping and it seems the latest incarnation has maintained a proclivity for bending the rules and breaching sporting integrity.

It's no secret that doping is an C.V. in modern sport, from the Olympics to Table Tennis. In Football its found mainly in the big money leagues like the English Premier League (EPL), but it now seems to have spread north of the border to the relatively small time SPFL, via high profile rookie manager Steven Gerrard, who has access to EPL needle men through his association with Liverpool FC.

The rumours have been constant around the recent success of Liverpool FC, with players largely viewed as average on paper, seemingly over achieving with high intensity running tactics designed to outwork "natural" opposition. The similarities with The Rangers are striking, several journeyman players in their mid to late 30s are now being seen to overrun some of the best teams in Europe midweek, and then return at the weekend with no fatigue or injury to do it again. Logically it makes no sense, until you factor in drugs - likely the latest synthetic test-defeating productions coming out of Mexico, produced by Cartel chemists.

On visual inspection The Rangers squad looks more like a team of bodybuilders than football players, Jermaine Defoe in particular, a man fast approaching 40, is charging around looking like a miniature Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, The Peoples eyebrows are certainly being raised.

This petition seeks to encourage the SFA to actively investigate the situation in the spirit of sporting integrity, by using the latest drug testing technology with random screening. There is no place for drugs in the SPFL, or indeed, in football and sport at large.

I saw something about doping circulating on a comments section on a YouTube video earlier and burst out laughing. I thought it was just imagination of a bitter wee man but it seems there is enough of them that actually believe this enough to start a petition. Maybe they should be concentrating on how poor they’ve been instead of how good we are. Deflection tactics of the highest. This Timplosion keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait for us winning the league.
