We all have our unique perspective upon the world. I have an Italian Torino supporting friend who cannot bring himself to follow the Azzurri containing any Juve players. so it will be with some our support and Celtic players playing for the National side. I personally have no problem in recognising that Christie was good last evening. or that the Scottish team with Christie . Mc Gregor and yes our own Ryan Jack is a strong area of the team. does that dilute my blue credentials or make me 'suspect' for some of our support?

I remember my dad, taking me to Rangers v Torino about early 70s, , they were very big then, much better known than juve,

Absolutely not mate, it's not the players fault the majority of fans and the governing body are eejits. I've watched better Scotland squads fail us in the past so was good to see them do well last night.

Well Tt. that Torino game at Ibrox you allude to wasn't any old game. it was, of course, a QF tie in our ECWC winning season.1-0 that night .2-1 on aggregate.!

Not atall Arcadia mate you’re Scottish and it’s in you’re blood. It’s easier and more rewarding to love than hate. Hates such a bad emotion. I have hate for people and it can overwhelm u. People who hate the Scotland national team for the reasons they give don’t realise if they all supported us then the idiots that boo etc would be in the minority.

Your correct of course mate, I only remember how famous Torino were and how they looked the part, I didn’t even think of 72 when I was posting, just aabout being there and I think I took the program to school for my teacher.

Wonderful. memories of that run to Barcelona. Although every member of that team were fantastic I always felt Dave Smith was very underrated and major influence in the achievement.
