Lots of talk about who we are interested in come the Jan transfer window . That said i think we need to free up some funds by getting rid of the dead wood that are stealing a wage.
For me that would be Barker, Jones, Stewart, and Firth

Who do you guys suggest?

Slim tend to agree re four players named, both Firth and Stewart r out off contract in June.
Mb add Edmundson to list, but I feel we would need to bring in another ch if he goes.

Doubt we will bring anyone in Jan tbh, maybe some pre contract signings for the following season. Harsh to suggest some of them as deadwood, and none of those names will be on big enough money to be 'stealing a wage'.

Can see Jones and Stewart heading out of the club on loan though.

Keep firth as back up. Definitely Jones, Stewart, barker need to go with one wide player comping in their place. Try get barjonas, Middleton mcpake and the like out on loan with hope of moving on permanently for money. Perhaps Katie or edmundson move out on loan to get game time and fitness. I only see the need for 1 player coming in and it’s a wide player to compete with Kent or play on the right but I’m more than happy with roofes progress.

I have no idea how much they earn but i bet the combined weekly ££ is at least £30k. They haven't started 10 games between them this season so if that's not stealing a wage and being deadwood then i don't know what is.

£30k a week would pay a very good 1st team starter that improves the team.

The players mentioned, slim, train daily and must be ready to play when called so they are definitely not stealing a wage, the fact they are not picked is down to the manager and all must be desperate to start. Stealing a wage would be wrong, not being picked is down to the managers personal choice.

Is harsh on the players mentioned. Done no wrong, just not upto the job. No harm in that. But no not stealing a wage. Just doing their job.

I would be ver, unless absolute silly money comes in. Those at the end of their current deal in June will hang on, as they can get a better deal as freebies. Loans out however, might be a few. surprised if more than 1 or 2 go. Improving contracts for the best performing players ( and there have been a few! ), might limit our ability to bring anyone in as well.

Jones and Stewart will be allowed to leave in January, the manager rates Barker and Edmundson highly.
