Last night showed that the guys have not downed tools or lost their hunger. Good to see Fredo playing in the position that suits him best and getting his rewards.
Lot of positives last night, but once again Tav was in my opinion very poor and has been for a while. Ti me for Patterson to get a run in the team and remain there unless he loses his form.

Should always be the case that if you are performing then you keep the Jersey. Tav is not doing that and pretty sure Gio will sort it.

Team had downed tools under Gerrard but they pulled out a performance for Gio, let's hope it continues. Morelos back where he should be main striker through the middle not playing midfield/ winger as under Gerrard. Only took Gio five minutes to figure out what Gerrard couldn’t.

Slim, can you explain why you thought Tav was poor?

I saw 3 poor passes and 4 rubbish crosses but you could say the same about almost every player.

I also saw some excellent covering, a last dash clearing header and some excellent forward play

Pretty sure is Gio thought Tav was poor he would have taken him off and replaced him with everyone's new messiah instead of replacing Hagi.

Most fans could see it but Gerrard couldn’t that Morelos is best in the 18 yard box. Also much more direct play last night and much less tippy tappy.
Already Gio looks a much better tactician than Gerrard was.
Hope he recalls Itten and Katic in January to see what they have to offer.

Tav was probably the worst player for us but we won and are thru.

DK, quite simple mate. Tav lost/ gave the ball away countless times and never made 1 telling pass in the whole game.
That in a game where we controlled it for the best part.

If you doubt that, then go watch it again. He has been poor for weeks with the odd exception.

Slim, countless times - not sure you really want to know the truth.

Not one telling pass - must have been McCoist who put the ball through to Hagi who crossed for Morelos to score.

Maybe you need to watch it again without the (I don’t rate Tav blinkers)
