Since gio took over we've been in uefa final and got into champs league. stevie g couldn't do it.

Sorry but that's a daft statement Gerrard came in at a time where the full squad cost less, less assets, Gerrard built the team up and had tremendous results in Europe over a sustained period, his legacy in Europe for me will always be a great one and winning back our crown.

Hate these comparisons. No need to put downer on one. Both done great for us for different reasons. Baxter the 6 point thing hides the state we were in when SG left as players even admitted giving up in games and forgets the mess celtic had started the season with. Loss of management bound to have effect. Gio had to turn them round and lost main players to injury while they went on incredible run after getting the window moved to bring in players.

Baxter, celtic were in a bad way at the start of the last season, they were down to the bare bones. We were playing badly but picking up points. Gio inherited a dysfunctional side but eventually turned it around. We'll be able to see a true Gio team in the near future. Then we can judge him, not before. He hasn't done too badly though.
