If he is a Celtic fan I would not have him at Rangers. Look at what happened with O’Halloran. We cannot have players that actively want our biggest rivals to succeed at our expense. We should not have them in the marketing department, why would you want them on the pitch?
Some of these guys aren’t bitter. Some of them are very bitter. If Tony Stokes was scoring 30+ a season in his prime you would never sign him for Rangers, because he hates Rangers. If these guys support Celtic then hating Rangers is part of the turf.

This Aris is a club i'd not heard much if. And I couldn't help wondering what risk there was they couldn't afford an obligation in due course. they seem to be a top 6 club over in Greece, but don't seem to spend a lot. There have been signings of c £3m (circa one person season) in recent seasons though, so this looks like it could be Thier record signing if the obligation is true (I'm still thinking I might be a translation issue and it's an option rather than an obligation) .

Has anyone heard any rumours regarding CBs. Almost all are about forwards or wingers but with Goldson finally looking like out the door and he was best of bad bunch this is serious area needing sorted as much as attack but not heard anything.

Given the attempt to sign Jose Cordoba early in the window, I would guess that the Manager is looking for a CB over and above what we have (even before selling Goldson and/ or Davies) . It’s remarkable Hagi a player who played for Romania at the euros and was a starter is finding it hard to get a club interested in him outside Romania. I don’t think we should be playing him but only because he does t fit our style of play and current wages. I do think he could be a decent player for a number of teams and I doubt we are asking a large transfer fee unless this is another example of us paying players to high a wage. I remember thinking Hagi last contract extension was a surprise after coming back from injury. I think we assumed he would be easy to sell.

Pity regarding Ibrox politics and wages around the Hagi scenario as he could still do a job for us on pitch and am sure if the lad was given the chance he could help our quest (as the boy can see a forward pass or two) -just shows how we must be struggling financially and on the Lennon Miller topic I think the boy is good but would be more a project and we cannot afford that at present - also wouldn't like thigs turning toxic on the boy if he stumbles along the way- could see them coming in with a bid as they have finances and can take the odd chance here and there- unfortunately we need 1st teamers to hit ground running and make a real difference to the team immediately?.

I think Miller is the type of risk we need to take. Given he is proving week in week out how good a player he is in this league I only see an upside with huge potential. Look how good Barron has been and many examples before of Scottish players being stand outs in this league and going on to do well.
I think £4m is not a huge amount of money for his potential when we have been linked with spending a lot more than that on foreign players.
I do agree blue Floyd I see them coming in for him, it will be a big regret for us.

Unfortunately think most of deals will be loans out. Good to get wages down but no real money in. Big positives tho are end of Goldsonball always looking to CBs to start every move, Barron looks a massive upgrade to cm wanting to take control and get things moving forward, Dessers looks a completely different player. If it wasn't for first 6 months we'd be raving about him. Never thought I'd be saying that. I'd actually like to keep Matondo apart from his wages. Yes he's been inconsistent but is a confidence player and with Borna gone and team looking to go forward instead of sideways and backwards to CBs could start to get the best of him. OK maybe in getting carried away with one good game but finally saw a plan and a few good signings this week and can look forward to the weekend and season ahead.

Rangers have applied for the safety certificate to install the netting as agreed so that it will be done for the OF game in January, although we won`t need it now . There is a copy of the other mobs application for the same thing kicking around now that says " Not Approved ", just a week before the game is due. Maybe that's the reason that they pushed the narrative that it is our fault when in fact they are in no position to allow our fans into the piggery.

Value debatable mate but certainly far more than we're getting. Don't believe Beale for a second that he was free but even if he was it was because he was almost out of contract. Was valued much higher. Norwich are due in sell on too so perhaps that was why cheaper. All this talk about saving wages is just try to put a positive spin on things. Obviously if u sell for decent fee then u do both. We may have saved wages this year but we've missed out on good few million between dropping players values and out of contracts. Maybe little choice but hardly good job well done.
