We competed and held our own in the 1st half, pressed as a team high up the park and at HT I actually thought we have a chance. Losing Goldson was huge and if ever a game showed why he has been our rock and best CB at the club tonight was it. We lost our leader and glue at the back . 2nd half they moved the ball quicker and could see us dropping deeper and deeper and panic in and out of possession. Then they bring on world class players from the bench while we bring on an 18yr CB and Steven Davis whose legs can't cover the ground any more. Out our depth and big questions need to be asked about our fitness/ sharpness and desire. Can Gio survive this? I'm not so sure.

Your post is exactly how I saw it. I am not against Gio by any manner of means but that is a lot of goals to lose against real opposition. The choice of Davis to replace Jack was strange. He will stay because it will cost too much to replace him. After eventually seeing a defensive partnership that looks good, we lose Goldson. A very bad night for many reasons.

Nonesense, this is Glasgow Rangers- we deserve better than han this- we know that they have better players but at home we want to compete - this os and unacceptable, Gio must go.

Wasn't he amazing for the last few games?
