Such a weird season, starts with optimism with Beale which quickly goes Pete tong. After the Aberdeen game at home we were shapeless, devoid of a playing style and heartless. It was plain to see this before the Aberdeen game but the Aberdeen game was the final nail in Beales coffin.

Then we get Clement and we are well behind celtic in points and somehow he manages to get a tune out of the absolute dross that Beale had signed and left him to sort out.

1. What was our expectations when beale got sacked, seriously, did we honestly think we could win a cup, be challenging for the league in the run in and in the final of the scottish cup?

I didn't personally, I think clement has done well. He needs ro be given a pre season and a transfer window to put his own stamp on the team. Disappointed at this season yes i am but that's what being a supporter/ fan is all about, rolling with the punches when they come, dusting yourself off getting up and going again. Celtics dominance won't last forever its just painful to experience them winning and us not, our time will come again?.

Like most bears, i'm a fan of our manager and do indeed rate him ? However what i will say is clement once he gets his signings in, has to find his best team quickly and when he does he needs to stick to it to allow continuity and stop chopping and changing for the sake of it barring injury of course ? Also play our players in their best/ natural positions ? I like a good few have been baffled by his team selections of late ?.

Didn’t think we’d be anywhere after the Aberdeen game so they deserve massive credit for turning things around. However, they absolutely blew a golden chance to win the league and I’m not one for publicly slating players but the past 2 months have been a disaster. The fact that mob are going for 55 next season makes it a hundred times worse and unfortunately that blame falls at the players and the managers door. Gutted.

I agree SWS ? hopefully he has learnt what he needs for next season and is supported by the board. I still worry that we show loyalty to underperforming players. We desperately need changes.

I think its a case of trying to get players to play his system. Could see last old firm midfield didn't have legs for it . Plus no natural wide players. Must give PC a chance . More energetic, dynamic players required . Might take time to gel. I just feel we had no movement in this team too many over the hill.

Agree with those sentiments Captain. Less so with the manager being at fault but the one selection I just don't get is not playing Sterling in CM against them - not once, not twice, but thrice - when his energy and power would have been a real asset.

My expectations of were If clement could stay at the same gap from Celtic as there was when he took over, and win a cup, that would be a decent season. Our team looked woeful! Your expectations change though when we claw back the deficit and go 2 points clear. After we beat hearts 5-0 I thought we were unstoppable. As someone once said, it’s a funny old game!

I also don't rate PC tacticly, he obviously will get the summer window to try and get more of his own players in but if he loses the first OF game and is behind by November Rangers will probably be looking for a new manager.
