Heard a rumour today from a boy at work that Beale likes the look of the Aberdeen striker from Albania I think it is. The one that scored against us. His information is that Colak will be away in the summer and Aberdeen lad will replace him with young lad from French 2nd tier coming in also.

Truth is we can afford to pay big wages to guys that aren't playing. As much as colak is a good player and I was desperate for him ever since he scored against us for Malmö he isn't going to play much under Beale unfortunately so bringing in someone else on half the wage or less is a no brainer obviously they've got to have something about them which I'm not sure the Aberdeen lad is the answer.

I would agree that miovski isn't as good as Colak. My information is Colak is wanting to play more than he is currently getting which is fair enough. Miovski has similar attributes in that he has good finishing ability and decent movement. He won't be getting wages anywhere near what Colak is getting and at 23 years old with 14 goals from 26 games in a poor Aberdeen side he has ability. OK he won't set Europe alight but he would be a strong option for our domestic game. I reckon he's not any worse than strikers we are bring linked with.

Tom I get what you are saying but the game has changed so much and the old fashioned no9 is almost a dying breed. The CF is expected to do so much more than to just do his work inside the box and between the sticks . There aren’t many strikers about now. Beale wants a goal spread and chances to come from all over the park.

Colak has been injured for a large period of Beales helm at the club and he has gradually increased his game time.
I don’t think he’s made his mind up regarding him.
Morelos may or may not sign new contract, Roofe is great when available but injury record means he could be replaced so IMO all 3 could leave but at least 2 could stay.
Beale will have an idea who he favours but depending on form and contract negotiations we won’t know until summer who’s leaving.
We will bring in at least 1 up top as Gaffa has indicated and I’d imagine he would want 3 in that central position next season.

Sorry Tom I thought you said he's a wc goalscorer, yes maybe you could be right with the front 3 playing to his strength but not every player playing to one mans strength I think Colak playing with Morelos could work very well, but the way Beale set ups Colak hardly touches the ball and he has very average ball control for a footballer if not poor.

Tom Morelos can bring men into play Colak can't do that or even control a ball on his chest and he's a bigger man obviously you don't like Morelos if cool with that, I think he's the best cf Rangers have had in a long time, Beale obviously thinks he's our best and Roofe when fit but he never is and Colak is his number 4 cf because Beale would play Sakala there first, he will be sold in the summer why has Colak never settled at a club to he moves on after a year or two and always starts banging the goals in then goes blank for many many games.

I'm just saying he should be given a fair shot and judged when he's fully fit.

It was more a point on how the same people that where saying Morelos out are now saying colak out and where. Praising colak when fit and scoring the only sing when your winning crowd basically.

And I like both Morelos and colak and have always said colak is the perfect striker to bring on in spl games if you are on top of a team going two strikers to get a goal.

It's important to have different types of players and different ways of playing as we all found with Gerrard and many people said no plan b too rigid.
