rangers apparently been looking in Australia hence links to Borges Rodrigues and Jacob Farrell in past club have obviously seen success other Scottish clubs have got from Aus.

We were keeping tabs on the young portuguese attacker during the winter window, wasted over here, should be at bigger club than CCCMs, perhaps a target for the LW, seeing we have no natural LWs except Lawrence who is away and the always injured matondo,
Still need 2 quality young LWs and 1 more
RW to rotate with Cortes, with matondo and Mcausland as 3rd choices for each side, now CF positions are sorted, Danilo, Dessers, 3rd choice Igamane.

Really pushing your new opinion on is having no natural LWs.

Name our natural LWs
EHL?
Cortes is a RW has been up until clement played him there due to lawrence / matondo injuries, both prior clubs in columbia and france RW.
Stats / highlights there if you want to check.
Cortes will play RW for us this season.
Same deal with Sima, always played RW or CF at Slavia prague, scored more goals in those positions, did you miss clement playing Sima on the RW after his injury recovery, scored a nice goal from RW in one of his final games before season ended.

LAUDRUPHAGI Raphael Borges Rodrigues is Aussie-Brazilian not Portuguese also the comment on having no natural left wings is ridiculous and to even consider Tom Lawrence a winger is ludicrous. I’m not even sure what you mean when you say “natural LW” even just calling a player a LW isn't actually a description of how they play. Someone like Neymar or Ronaldinho is different to someone like Mane or Sane etc.

Hopefully as good as matt mckay.

It's pointless LaudrupHagi, as you claim natural so you can then challenge anyone who isn't left footed. despite there being a shift towards inverted wingers over the last decade.

rfctrue i was not refering to borges the brazilian lad, 10 games 1 goal definately not a RW we will be remotely interested in.

THe player we have been watching from Central Coast Mariners is the Columbian lad Torres who is out of contract in a few days and played for Porto's B team before moving to the A league.

I got his nationality former league team mixed up, so i'm guilty of that.

Far better prospect and more experienced than Borges.

Angel Torres - RW - available on a free from the 1st of July.

23 games - 13 goals - 3 assists -24 yr old.

Rangers were interested in him last December during winter transfer window and have kept tabs on him since.

was a deal negotiated for him to join us on free back then?

we will find out soon enough.

EHL2020 wasn't a challenge mate, was asking as curios of your opinion that was all.

Can’t see Torres being signed, he’s been arrested for serious offence in Aus.

Angel Torres was suspended by the Australian FA for the the last 10 or so weeks of the season. He is facing sexual assault charges. Court case in early July.

You're all discussing Torres again this was highlighted months ago about his arrest on here, Borges- Rodriguez has been spoken about for ages aswell, don't think there is any real interest, may be wrong.

Angel Torres is Colombian not Portuguese and also looks like he’s joined Prison FC. You have to be on the wind up haha. Also Borges has 8 goals and assists this season and is going to Coventry.

Teams don't play with old fashioned wingers that run up the line and just cross balls in to the box anymore. Teams use wide attackers that cut inside with a view to running towards the opposition goal, while the fullbacks overlap. Sima is a left-winger. Matondo is a left-winger.

Even using the term winger is probably wrong. These people aren’t wingers they are inside forwards. Sima is most certainly an inside forward. He is not someone to get down the line and cross a ball in.

Any left-winger Rangers get will most likely be left footed because they will be cutting inside most of the time. This is why we signed Lammers and tried to convert him in to a wide forward. Rangers are looking to occupy the wide areas with players somewhere between a winger and a striker. These guys are hard to find.
