Onewaltersmith, I completely disagree with that. 22 goals in his first season are great numbers, especially when you take into account:

1. He wasn't first choice all season when others were fit

2. He didn't take penalties

If he takes our penalties and he's scoring 30 goals. Add to all that the amount of abuse he got last season was shocking. He was the fall guy mostly unfair IMO.

TBH while i'm no fan of dessers i'd currently keep him over Danilo, he has proven himself to be a 20+ goal striker in his forst season when players like Lammers and roofe wilted under the same pressure. he needs reliable reinforcements but i'd say he's more dependable than El buff.

I was one of the many on here disgusted dessers was wearing our beloved shirt but the guy never hid from all the abuse when others would have crumbled, kept himself fit and put it a shift when required. He missed some sitters but he also scored a few goals. I was too quick to judge and compared to others around him he’s the type of player we need to fight for a place.

Goodness me some have short memories, dessers missed more chances than any rangers forward in recent memory and if we go with him as main striker we won't win the league it's as simple as that so yes if we get a decent offer sell and I'd bet more fans will be of same opinion.

Correct Ausbear. Big Dessers is being hung out to dry by some 'supporters' when our failings last season were down to a poor defence and very few goals from midfielders when needed. He stands up to all the abuse and never hides - even played on for over half an hour in the cup final with an injury.

I just wish some would give big dessers a break here ?I'm not saying for a second that going forward dessers should be our no.1 striker but he's nowhere near as bad as some on here seem to think ?The big fella never hides, gives his absolute all and did score 22 goals for us last season ?I'd keep the big guy as part of our squad, unless we get an offer that we can't refuse and that's really the same with any of our players ?Dessers is a decent striker and a terrific professional to have around our squad, his attitude is spot on ???.

I agree Bellshill…. I wasn’t Dessers biggest fan but I’ve got to give credit where its due he was under massive pressure and handled it well. Yes he missed chances but what striker doesn’t . people rant and rave about kyogo for the rotten mob. He misses all sorts of chances. clear cut ones as well. OWS who says we are winning the league anyhow? We are signing a bunch of players for development…. May be a while before we’re winning anything.

Morelos scored less in all but 2 seasons and half you wanted him back. The worry is he's the only striker we have that is proven in the league. Although I'll trust Koppen and Clement if he goes.

The eyes don't lie. We'll never win an old firm game with him at no. 9. fine for the lesser teams, but we can't afford to have a £4m striker on his wages as a backup. Nothing against the guy, but he cannot be our starting center forward next season if we're to be successful.

Why should we sell our 20+ goals striker for just a decent offer? Celtic look to be selling their useless striker Oh for 3.5 million and he's scored 12 in 2 seasons. If we're selling him, then it should be for profit and if he does go I certainly wouldn't be giving the money to Aberdeen for miovski.

I'm happy taking players off them for tribunal fees, but our life support of these small teams who kicked us when we were down should stop. I wouldn't give another spl team a penny.

Yes Dessers missed more chances than he scored goals, So what happens when all these misses turn into goals, Then your talking about getting rid of a 30-35 goal striker, and taking into account it was his first season and didn't play every game and was settling in Scotland, I for one understand what it's like to be in this situation and trust me getting rid of Dessers would be a massive mistake.
