Chris Jack reporting that Kamara is been chased by 6 European clubs (Lyon included) . Seems like all have contacted Rangers. Says Rangers are expecting a fee of just over £5m and the next 48 hours will be interesting.

Also Sakala is closing in on a move to Saudi Arabia. Fee in the region of £4m

If Sakala leaves this week or early next week, I'm expecting Rangers to sign a CB. Also, with our LB issues. Joining the race for Josh Doug might not be a bad idea IMO.

Agree with john on that I don’t think we will sign doig to replace bb due to differences in value, but if Tomas is to be sold then I could see us going in for him.
We best get a move on as I knew Bologna were after him and someone said today he’s held talks with Fulham
Maybe we can get an auction going for kamara. Think France or Italy would really suit him.

As I said elsewhere why would Doig choose to return to Scotland unless he`s a Rangers supporter . He has a successful career in Italy and may now be on his way to the EPL . What does he have to gain by coming back here. We should have been after him before we went for Yilmaz but now that ship has sailed.

I'm not really understanding the yilmaz hate thought he had an excellent end of season and had a bad game v hoffenheim surly he has got to get another good run in the team before we decide to sell?

John, I never mentioned anything about signing Doig in my post, I don't know enough about him to judge if he'd be better or not, what do you think about our current left back situation? are Yilmaz and Borna good enough for the season ahead?

Yep, John. IF Beale is open to selling Yilmaz. I would expect us to look at Doig as his replacement. I do think he’s a talented player and fits our style. Europe would be a concern, but he has a good mentality, and Italy will develop him a lot.

I could be wrong, but I do think Gerrard and Beale liked him before they left.

I doubt he’ll be coming as Yilmaz is still here, but it’s all ifs, buts and maybes.

Just some context on Doig as people seem to think he is a great LB since leaving Scotland. He started less than half of Veronas games last season, couldn't get a game at LB at all and played mainly as 2nd choice left mid for 2nd half of the season. He hasn't exactly lit it up over there. Decent player. Yilmaz was being raved about but had 1 bad game in pre-season and suddenly everyone wants rid. I don't see this one happening.

Im hoping that Yilmaz will be with us this season however speaking to people I know in Istanbul, (one a Fernabahce Supporter and the other a Besiktas Supporter that is also involved with the Club), and they both reckon that Yilmaz is wanted back in Turkey with both of their clubs interested and Galatasary also showing an interest.

Huey doig had a few nibbles last season and missed a fair but due to injury middle to end I believe.
