If a player signs a pre contract when will the medical take place?
Before signing or would the signing take place as long as medical is passed? Or potentially before signing the agreement and actually when leaving his current club in 6 months time?

A bid is required and has to be accepted by Norwich if we want Cantwell in this window. If However we sign him on a pre contract and he comes in the summer then it’s just terms to be agreed with the player.

I thought the Tillman fee was closer to 1.5m?
Whatever the fee I do believe he has enormous potential if managed/ coached properly but do agree that decision needs to be made after more than one good friendly performance.

I thought after Michael Ball had played 60 games for us we had to pay Everton a further 500k or something so we stopped playing him?
I could be wrong though.
