Lammers and Matondo won’t go anywhere in this window. Can only add a maximum of 3 new players to euro squad. Fabio silva will be one. If Barisic goes Ridvan will be another. That leaves one space. If we could get rid of Davies and bring in McKenna that would be ideal. Also get rid of Scott Wright.

I’m not sure a loan to buy solves anything. The clubs would not necessarily take up the buy option after the loan spell. If we buy replacements now we may end up with a ridiculously huge squad. Better to sell them at an affordable price now.

Rfc22 Sterling can cover at full back, we have raskin coming back from injury for middle of the park. Yes would leave us thin but business is business and cash in for a player out of contract in the summer or part of a deal for another player coming in would be good business sense, just my opinion tho.

Ridvan had a good game today against Killie and was solid against Celtic. He can be a bit lightweight defensively.

Ridvan has been good, bit wasteful going forward sometime but at least he looks to pass forward and make moves.
Unlike Borna "pass-backward" Barisic, who is exposed by Celtic every time.

Just hope Ridvan can stay healthy/ uninjured.

If we can move on Davies, Matondo and Lammers in this window - even on a loan to buy - that would be positive as they'll all be big earners. It sounds like Million Manhoef might be a RW target to take Matondo's place in the squad, but that would still leave us needing replacements for the other two (either like for like on Davies, or potentially another kind of player for Lammers) .

While I think Lawrence is a more natural player to play backup to Cantwell in the 10 role, he just can't keep fit, and I'm not sure we have anyone else that can play the kind of passes we need from that area.

Excellent news John, I actually believe that in the right league that Lammers will be a decent player, he just doesn't seem suited to the hustle and bustle of Scottish Football and similarly, at the correct level, possibly the English Championship, Davies will prove to be a decent centre back.
Matondo, I had hoped would come good but it's not happening.
Personally I would like to see us move Wright on and secure a small fee.
Looking forward to seeing some quality incomings although I suspect that the real quality won't arrive until the summer.
