Only sharing, don't shoot the messenger folks!

Heard from my mate today, he's a forest ST holder and he reckons the word is down there that they are lining up a bid for Alfie and supposedly Worral is part of it.

It's a rumours page and as you all know I don't usually have any because I don't know anyone in the know, so I'm not saying this comes with any weight. It is only a bit of chat between two mates. Seems plausible though and I told him it better be a big bid, easily north of 15m plus bombscare (though tbf, he looked no bad last night) .

Can’t see this happening, Gerrard will want Morelos for the European games when we qualify, especially since Defoe could be back at Bournemouth by then.

2.) 07 Feb 2019 13:16:35
Thankfully it’s just a rumour because Worrall is an absolute bombscare of a player.

3.) 07 Feb 2019 13:22:04
Wearethefkinpeople defoe is here for 18 months so unless you think that rangers won't qualify for Europe . we will have defoe and morelos for Europe.

4.) 07 Feb 2019 13:36:31
Can't see Morelos going to Nottingham Forest if and when he moves on which unfortunately will happen one day.
I can see him either going to an EPL team, La Liga, or the Bundesliga.
Morelos is a cut above the Championship, and an absolutely outstanding talent, but currently he does have an issue with his discipline.
Let us meantime enjoy Alfredos goals.

5.) 07 Feb 2019 13:54:43
Cant see him wanting to go there however if they offer the going rate (+£15m) then they r as welcome to offer as any other club.

6.) 07 Feb 2019 14:27:25
Rick Witter, no he's not, he's a good defender who is still learning and will improve even further.

7.) 07 Feb 2019 14:36:14
Ha Forrest I don’t think so alfredo wants higher than that . why go to a rangers drop out team . no chance I think.

8.) 07 Feb 2019 14:39:19
I think the forest supporters are having a bit of wishful thinking there!

9.) 07 Feb 2019 15:12:11
Gersforever Bournemouth have the option to call Defoe back in the summer then again next January if they feel like it, calling it the now, Morelos will be going nowhere in the summer unless a top top quality player comes in, how many times has Gerrard said he’s our best player, he’ll no let him leave.

10.) 07 Feb 2019 15:49:39
Come back to me bigjaffa when he makes another mistake and say what you just said to me then. The Forrest fans are more than happy he’s up here for a reason.

11.) 07 Feb 2019 18:23:18
Forrest will be able to offer more £££s than us, and that's what will matter.

12.) 07 Feb 2019 22:20:14
Moralos won’t want to leave us for Forrest when he does leave it will be for a bigger club and much higher level than them. As for Worral he has had some shocking games but also some excellent ones to like in Europe and the recent oldfirm he was brilliant.

Now i'd definitely prefer Katic over him but I can understand why he is picked for the big games because he does usually perform in these them imo. I do think he gets a little to much stick from fans he is far from terrible.

So we've been told 3m is the price for Goldson, let's see how serious the board are.

Cletusvandamme

1.) 28 May 2018 10:53:04
3rd choice cntr half at Brighton and Hove Albion costs 3m. wow Cletus how times have changed.

I’m old enough to remember gough butcher brown and graham roberts all signing. Back then 3rd choice cntr half from Brighton you’d prob pick up for 2 ginger bottles &’a lucky bag!

wonder if the lad Isherwood on trial from Bayern or Aiden Wilson will get a shot next season

for what it’s worth I reckon Mcrorie wld be better suited to sitting in front of back 4 - lad really looks like he has something about him lots energy drive and loves a tackle

2.) 28 May 2018 10:56:51
We should not be forced to pay over the odds. Lad at Aberdeen, McKenna would cost about 1.5 with sell on clause

3.) 28 May 2018 11:15:33
Connor Goldson is valued at 1m euros by a certain online transfer, oops almost gave the site away, media. So why should we pay £3m especially when Brighton want to sell?

4.) 28 May 2018 11:17:29
Aye me too Trev, how times have changed. Point is guys, if SG wants this guy then we'll see what backing he has from the board. Their price has been named, now whether he's worth that or not is a different debate. If SG says he's our guy and we know what we have to pay, will we?

5.) 28 May 2018 12:08:18
If we are going to target players from england then we are going to have to dig deep no english clubs will sell there players on the cheap its just the way the market is down there

6.) 28 May 2018 13:19:13
Pretty sure Aberdeen turned down £2m from Hull for McKenna so no we won’t get him for 1.5m. Haven’t seen anything of the lad from Brighton so won’t comment on what we are about to pay for him ( if true ) the problem is, especially with CB you either go for experience or a youth with potential as all the CB worth their salt that are a good age will cost a lot more than we can afford tbh.

7.) 28 May 2018 13:43:08
The way Brighton view it is he’s still only 25 his best years are still ahead off him and he’s English what as we know they love to inflate the price. and on top off all that he’s still a quality centre back who is happy to be 3rd choice currently so will they find centre back with the same quality who’d be happy to be a 3rd chance centre back at Brighton? definitely not so if we have to pay that then so be it. it’s todays market

8.) 28 May 2018 14:16:07
Give Wilson a chance, he costs nothing and is just as good as any 3rd choice Brighton player.

9.) 28 May 2018 14:41:45
I’m not for a sec saying we should pay it as I no nothing about the boy but I would say 3m for a prem league 25 year old cb is not bad.

10.) 28 May 2018 14:48:32
sorry but 3m for an EPL player at 25 is not a lot of money, this is the kind of money we need to spend on players to get to where we need to be.

People saying '3rd choice' for Brighton, as if to claim he's not good enough, need a reality check, don't think there's a CB in our league that would get into Brightons team.

11.) 28 May 2018 16:50:34
He's a 3rd choice premier league player. I've no idea if he's the answer, it does seem a bit of cash though. Pretty sure Hull didn't bid £2m for McKenna. The sheep would be looking for that type of money though. Caulker, McKenna, souttar. Think we could get any one of those for less of than £3m

12.) 28 May 2018 16:53:41
If a 3rd choice premier league player is good enough (and he could well be) wouldn't signing someone like Darren Fletcher be good? I know he's getting on but premier league, champions league experience?

13.) 28 May 2018 18:20:24
The lad from Brighton was first choice prior to his heart troubles. He was an outstanding young defender with EPL club's looking to buy him. The cb's that are keeping him out of the Brighton team have done also on merit getting Brighton promotion while fh13 was recovering. If he adjusts to Scottish game he is just what we are looking for in a CB

Can't believe Jack escaped punishment for that horrendous tackle on yer man's boot with his face. Hopefully the compliance officer will take the retrospective examination required and ban him for 6 months.
With any luck the other managers, BBC, pundits and players will bring it to her attention and Jack will get what he rightly deserves. The witch must be hunted in order to preserve the quest for 10.

I said it in the 70s 80s and 90s, the sheep only had 4 games in them a season and that was against us. Tonight I reckon was proof of that. A holes.

It'll be interesting to see which one of the Americans turns out to be the better signing, ours or theirs. And I mean in general terms of course.

Cletusvandamme

1.) 01 Feb 2019 14:56:52
Hope our but with our luck probably the manks will be hope ours tho mate.

2.) 01 Feb 2019 16:14:31
IMHO we've got the better, at least the more sensible of the two. Rangers Celtic Rangers Celtic, it's a no brainer.
Unless of course he didn't get an offer from us.

3.) 02 Feb 2019 10:01:38
I remember reading that Stevie G didn’t want Gutman, he preferred Polster as they can both play same position, Gutman has beady eyes anyway, just like Griffiths.

4.) 02 Feb 2019 13:39:37
Ha ha, and a monobrow!

24 Jan 2019 11:32:14
If we're to play a bombscare at the back, then I'd much rather it was our own. At least then we'd be developing him for ourselves and not some other random team. I'm sure yer man Joe will turn out to be a good player and go for a lot of money some day, but let him cost their team goals and what could prove to be a very costly 3 points.

Cletusvandamme

1.) 24 Jan 2019 12:14:43
You’re spot on. I don’t buy the whole Katic is homesick is why he isn’t playing either. If he is homesick or his father is ill, let the guy play and it’ll probably take his mind off it all. If Katic can’t get in the team after that display from Worrall somebody needs to be asking Stevie G questions.

2.) 24 Jan 2019 12:20:16
Can’t understand why both Worrall and McAuley started in front of Katic. Worrall is awful and McAuley can’t run.

3.) 24 Jan 2019 12:55:54
If Katic can’t get a start on Sunday then he has no future IMO. I like the guy and would forgive him a mistake ahead of Worrall who has already told us all that his future is with Forest.

4.) 24 Jan 2019 13:16:00
Worral is seen as the best ball player, in terms of coming out from the back, after Goldson. Last night made a mockery of that! Katic has to be given another run now. Fingers crossed Goldson is due back from injury ASAP, as a pairing Goldson/ Katic have looked the best.

5.) 24 Jan 2019 13:56:38
Every manager has a soft spot for a certain player. Warburton had it with Kiernan etc. We need to accept that Worrall is stevie G's so he will continue to play and let us down no matter what.

29 Dec 2018 14:31:25
So very happy today not only for the win but in the way the team played and especially to hear Ibrox singing Andy's name. He, like the rest of the team was immense today and he thoroughly deserved his MOM award. Well done Andy.

1.) 29 Dec 2018 14:43:29
Yeeeeees brilliant
Halliday was outstanding
That could have been 4 or 5

To all the tims that come on to this site get it right ya

Scott Brown destroyed.

2.) 29 Dec 2018 14:49:11
Magnificent! The guys have sent the fans away with a soring in their step. The easiest 1-0 i have ever seen. On another day it could have been 5 or 6. So proud of the players. They left everything out on that park. Thought every single one was immense and so pleased for Abdy. So humbling to see him in tears at the end. He's had his haters on here but the guy is so obviously a class player. Let's knuckle down and get after them after the break. We can definitely win this title. Happy New Year from a very proud bear!

3.) 29 Dec 2018 15:02:06
I agree they should have pumped us the 1st time, we should have pumped them today, to man we were excellent today well done to Andy Halliday I feel that any time he has played this season he has done himself proud and today is no exception, dominated them today and while Morelos may not have scored he caused them all sorts of problems well done Rangers.

4.) 29 Dec 2018 15:03:22
100% bang on seeker.

5.) 29 Dec 2018 15:12:28
Only managed to see the second half, my son updating me on the first half. If our midfielders could show that spirit/ commitment every game it would be a joy to watch. two or three good signings next month and who knows what we can do. God I've waited years for that result! Follow Follow.

6.) 29 Dec 2018 16:13:24
Morelos bullied the celtic defence, was rolling them all day. Didn't score but any suitors watching him today must have been impressed thought he was top notch todsy.

I'd like to add to the comments regarding sweet deliveries, Cadden is another whom I admire and can do the same. Just saying, not making comparances or anything.

Was thinking the same Kenny, he has a wicked delivery into the box and although Andy has done an admirable job in his absence, he won't keep the left back position. Barasic is by far the best left back at the club (when fit obviously) .

Very good point frustrated blue. That is EXACTLY what we should point to if anyone comes calling. The boy MIGHT have potential but the buffalo is showing his and has done since he arrived.

Aye Tommy you're right. I mind going to a game with my mate and his uncle who was over from Canada one Saturday. His uncle posed the question, 'I wonder who will play? ' Well me and my mate rhymed off the team who ALWAYS played barring injury. And we were spot on, though we did get beaten that day lol.

I'm going to wade in here with my opinion. Agreed he hasn't shown much so far but the one thing I have seen and been impressed with is his range of passing. Don't know if he can hit the heights again but he has something the rest don't in his passing ability. Perhaps he is too slow now and isn't worth it, time will tell. Willing to give him a bit more time though.

I think he means that Dundee are doing particularly bad this season and therefore Kamara is contributing to that. Novo and Claudio played in Dundee teams that weren't all that bad from what I can remember, so that's a bit of a moot point.
