The club statement is an absolute joke, but certainly not funny. Time to hand over the keys and vacate the premises, boys. At a time when credibility is essential, there heads are stuck in the sand. If they cannot man up and take some action, we are well and truly effed. Our only hope is that Ashley displays some potential leadership to protect his interests.

Ashley can't underwrite share issue because if none sell he would have to buy them, that's what underwrite means. Your not allowed to own more than 10% of clubs in 2 differing legues incase there becomes a clash of interst

The lawyers for rangers said rangers had two people ready to invest in rangers I hope its true or its admin n2

@2. I wonder who the two are? If it is existing shareholders they will be pleading with them to take up their offer allowance.

If it is NEW investors, they won't be able to invest unless the current investors give the board the power to disapply pre-emption rights.

Why on earth did Easdale do that interview days before the court case? Surely he must have known that telling the press just how bad the finances were would weaken the clubs case against Ahmed?

Am I the only one who thinks there's something a bit fishy going on with Ahmed succeeding in getting the money frozen just when we are at another cash crisis and he failed on two previous occasions?

International call ups preventing us playing today, it's disappointing, I was looking forward to that.

7.) 06 Sep 2014
@5:Nothing fishy, just you not understanding the situation. The fact that the club is running on fumes this time around is why the request was granted. On the previous occassions the judge was not convinced that the club would not be in a position to pay up if Ahmad wins. This time the judge was convinced. If the financial position had been the same as it was on the previous occassions, the bid would have failed again.

@6. Probably just as well. We probably couldn't afford to fill the bus with diesel.

Seems the best thing to do to raise cash would be some deal involving Murray Park, just cash in on it unless either of the investors they are talking to come on board.

STYAB: You say I don't understand the situation, but if the judge deems we can't pay up, then wouldn't it have made more sense to have awarded it to Ahmed when we were financially stronger and could pay it.

{Ed039's Note - You are not understanding at all Cromjo, Ahmed has not been awarded anything yet, as a matter of fact his case hasnt even been heard yet, all he has done is have the money set aside in case he is successful)

Maybe am not totally understanding but it still amounts to the same thing if there is the chance of the money being paid at a later date.

12.) 06 Sep 2014
N3 steddy the way it was put is that current shareholders won't put up the 4 million then other shareholders will call for an egm thus allowing new shareholders to invest

13.) 06 Sep 2014
Ok, I understand he hadn't been awarded the money yet but r u then saying money that we don't have has been ringfenced for him at a future date?

14.) 07 Sep 2014
Cromjo let me try to explainr rangers had one and a half million in there bank account ammed is suing rangers the judge has blocked rangers from using 600thousand of there own money in case ammed wins his case if ammed loses rangers can then use the 600thousand for themselfs
