UJ, I admit that I haven't read the full statement, but when you use a term like "ahead of the curve" you are implying that you are doing better at this point in time than you expected; not that you are doing better than you were five years ago.
If he thinks that we are doing better than they expected, they must have started out with pretty low expectations.

Coop, was Hummel one of your "I can exclusively reveal" manufacturers over the last few months?
As has been said before, if you throw enough names in, you're going to be right some of the time. Now who does that remind me of?

p. s. here are a few full stops for you to use as you seem to have run out.

"I think if you look into it SDM was forced into selling Rangers by the banks".
Only because his entire tenure of the club was funded by the banks rather than any of his own money. In fact, taking his EBT in to consideration, he probably took more out of the club than he put in. Okay, he did underwrite a share issue when the 'sugardaddy fans' once again failed to invest in the club.
The big tax case was looming over because of his decision to use EBTs. They may not have been illegal at the time, but he knew they were dodgy. So much so that he concealed their use in side letters. The financial collapse of the club was of his doing. People have to stop blaming everyone else for the meltdown.

Zikos, one of your final comments (Celtic can no longer just turn up and roll is over) seems to be at odds with what say before it and what actually happened.

"I think Jamie Murphy is almost a certainty to sign permanently at the end of the season"

Hedging your bets a little with that statement, bear.

Sorry DK, how is it possible to read between the lines and come to that conclusion. Could you please explain your reasoning?

So Doiger, you have no interest where we finish in the table as long as it is above the teams managed by two guys you have a dislike for.
Crazy!

"Anybody know Murty’s stated reason for dropping Morelas"
Maybe he he doesn't have a clue and gets his team selection and tactics from this page.

Why did he sign a contract extension? Think about it, thinkaboutit.
The obvious answer would be for the undoubted wage increase. Secondly, players often sign contract extensions before leaving as a favour to the club to get them a bit of extra money on the deal when they sell him. Unless, of course you believe that we did actually turn down a £10m offer for him.
