I'd like to see us bringing Derek McInnes in as manager.

Why? The reason being I believe an outsider, a non Rangers man with no fear of the Rangers support will bring a new angle on what kind of player we require. McCoist shied away from youth based on a premise that the supporters' demands could damage confidence. He's right in saying that a youth team would not have won the 3rd Division but then again, no one demanded that. I reckon we'd still have Charlie Telfer if he'd been played when we were 30 odd points clear last season. No, let's play Black and Law every match and go unbeaten.

The chickens are coming home to roost and we're left with few options to drop players. I can see a scenario where things are going to get worse and we'll be in the same league next season with Hearts and Hibs going up.

I always thought he was a Rangers fan. Certainly around the time he joined, it was said he was a lifelong fan. Had one good season with the sheep.

McInnes is A huge Rangers fan always has been!

3.) 13 Dec 2014
Whilst respecting your choice I would go for the tried and tested in the bigger arena --- the man with everything we need is surely Steve Clarke

4.) 13 Dec 2014
I agree Steve Clarke with his contacts etc would be a good appointment. Why always butcher McCall etc. Butcher too many failings McCall not sure but prefer Steve c. What about MacLeish?

And to think butcher nearly took the Motherwell job

Need to wake up people new manager same rubbish sqaud. This group of players are not good enough. A new manager won't be giving money to spend. Any players sold they money will pay back Ashley. Ally wants out because Ashleys men have told him Wallace, Templetong & Mcloed will be sold in January if prospective bidders follow through to be replaces by Newcastle kids. No appeal to managers with a credible CV wanting the job.

{Ed039's Note - I am sorry but this squad of players is more than capable at this level, guys like Stevie Smith playing left midfield when Templeton is on the bench is just a joke, seems like the guy has done something, a new manager would be a fresh start for players like Temps who should be in the starting 11 but are not. We are playing Fraser Aird when a better player IMO in Barrie McKay is out on loan ...... the squad is good enough, they are not being managed or set-up well enough, I just can not agree with your statement)

Ed u 100% right aird does not have it barrie mackay at raith that dolt foster at leftback s smith on the bench moshni worse than a man short kris boyd would need a weeks famine to box at heavy weight lee maculloch is sloer than me and I am 62 and 19st I still think with the right manager we can still win league hearts have light weight squad and short on numbers so far very little injuries and suspensions terry butcher is not the man for the job I would like to see s mcall paired with ian murray at one time I would have say craig livein but after scotland not sure however the board will no doubt take cheapest option

Would love mcleish, but his genk team are second in the league after 19 games, 3 points behind 1st, big eck took over and they were just outside the relegation slots, doing abso brillant there, a wee 3-0 win today, keep it up big man

Bigwull definitely not craig Levine, I know he is meant to be keeping neilson in the right at hearts, but like us once the players cross the white line it's down to them, I would not want Levine near rangers, for bye that we play with strikers lol Levine Scotland nobody at all up front, oh wait we are playing like that our selfs right now. lol
