if anyone that macoist was an all right guy what manger would make that announce ment before a game and then pick a team with players out of position make substituitios that he made leaving aird on plying foster at left back leaving s smith on the bench and playing that person moshni and allowing queens to outplay and dictate play it shows u as a manager clueless or I should say greedy and clueless the tree muskiteers moto all for one and one for all but in macoists case all for ally and ally for ally he has went from legend to looter in three easy steps and at the same time been in more camps than geronimo

He actually handed his resignation in on Thursday and it was leaked by the board (no prizes for guessing who that was) it's conveniently taking the emphasis away from themselves but not for long because there will be no hiding place for these vagabonds come a week on Monday.

BT61, Why should his audacity not be leaked. He is useless at his job and is trying to manipulate the situation to his own financial benefit. He might as well make the most of it as he will never get another job in football. So for all you anti-board mob answer just two questions------ What have the Easdales got for their input, and what has he given for his rewards?
He has nothing to offer and this only re-enforces my commitment to not watch a game while he controls the team. It gives me absolutely no pleasure in watching his status, with our support, dwindling by every action.
He should be put on gardening leave until such time as his position is resolved. He should not be allowed into Ibrox or Auchenhowie except to get his personal belongings. Pay him each month his basic salary and remove all perks. [ car/expenses/bonus etc. ] We should employ a director of football [ ideally Souness] and a head coach to run the team and the whole pro Ally mob should know that the additional costs are down to him. His claims to be a 'Ranger's man' are in tatters and if we are to do a Third Lanark, then he will be high up in the list of main contributors.
Time now to shut up and let developments take there course.
What will be, will be.

Billy b is right dinsdale and dug although wealthhy but not super rich which is needed to run a club like rangers when it is not being run as a buiisness they put money in and as they say they have blown 3 million we have been f. . by whyte green and macoist he has supported every regime conned bears into buying season n books to protect his income showing no decency trying to say he cut his wages by half and when xmas party and staff presents were axed he could not organise party and presents funded by donations from coach staff and players as arsenal players and management did for the arsenal foundation reprobates

The fact that all the name calling bout mccoist goes to greed who he's backed how much money he earns sums the current state of club and support IMO. The biggest problem as iv said 100times on here is not ally mccoist it is one of many problems on the playing side but as stability of a club if it can't be seen what's happened from day one since Whyte came in I despair. The club has been ran as unprofessionally off the park even more so than it has on the park. I'm not mccoists biggest fan but it's getting mental now with this the way the club is being run is despicable and the biggest problem as we can do nothing about it. A manager that comes in will only be short term solution as we as a club have no long term plan it's minute to minute with them. We have money till the end of January then will it be the end of the season mccoist or new manager that's not good circumstances as how can u plan. Ppl will say other teams work like that but successful teams don't. If it's fixed off the park it will get better on the park. We could be 15points clear just now and would still only have funds till January.

Gc1981, You make some good points, but at the end of the day amcc will never be a good, or even, a decent coach/manager. He has proved by player choice, team selection, tactics and adaptability during a game that he is useless. Forget everything else and accept he is not fit for purpose.
Yes, if we are to progress as a club we must have a sound financial basis to work on and in my humble opinion, given the hand we have got, we should go with Ashley. Yes, he is not everyone's cup of tea, but nobody can doubt his business acumen.
If ever in our history we needed unity, it is now.

@4. Your right mate about the way the club is being run, but Mccoist in my opinion has a lot to answer for too, the guy couldn't even manage Rangers on a PlayStation game never mind in real life, he can't spot a good player, his tactics are non existent, he hasn't a clue how to change a game or get the best out of a player etc etc etc. I like many other fans just love to watch a good football team on the park, and would gladly pay to do so, but why should guy's have to or want to pay to watch the Barry white that is being served up by HIS team, if the product on the park was better then the crowd's would be a lot better, and it annoys me so much that he can't see that (or maybe he can). Cooper, Baxter, Greig, Laudrup, Gasgoine, and many more all legends, Mccoist legend my arse.

We speak about the management and ownership of the club as if we have a choice in who takes it forward. All posts on the forum including mine are borne of frustration and absolute desperation to see Rangers Football Club repaired.

As I have said on this forum before we have much bigger problems than Ally McCoists management as the survival of the club is clearly in the balance. There are two possibilities for survival - administration or someone or organization to completely buy out the shareholding and the onerous contracts at the club and start again. I doubt the club would be able to resurrect another liquidation.

Given the desperate state we are in on and off the field and no matter how sick to the core everyone feels after the last few years, Rangers is first and foremost about loyalty and I for one will stick with it regardless who is the manager and who the directors are as we have to try and do our bit to ensure the club is still alive - this is what supporters do.

As I said iv grave concerns with regards to mccoist as a manager choices have been bad by him and his staff. I would fully expect a new manager to improve us my point was merely that no matter who comes in things need to be fixed further up as well. I do not doubt business acument of mike Ashley at all. Silence is hard to bear as over the last few years that's been a bad thing. As iv said there is many problems that don't seem to go away and they are and will hold us back no matter who the manager is. IMO mccoist needed to go decisions baffling, the thought of playing without pace and creativity all these things sum up for me. I'm just not one for the personal attacks on the man that's all football related fire away but other stuff not for me

N8. I think it's the age of most of our players that cause us to play with no pace
