just a thought the reason we mite no be signing strikers is we have a few already at the club Walsh mckay hardie gallager clark miller these guys all prefer to play as strikers and should be played in there rite positions so this is maybe why we are not signing attackers

Walsh and mackay aren't strikers mate. Mackay is not and never will be good enough to play for rangers the same way he wasn't good enough to play for raith last season. My 2 year old has a better first touch than Clark and Kenny miller although he brings experience I'd have said he won't play 40 games next season.

Mckay will get a chance under Warburton the same as anybody else. it's a fresh slate for the pplayers like him. a striker is needed but they are hard to come by.

I agree it is a clean slate but but a boy deemed not good enough for raith rovers us unlikely to be a fist team regular for us next season?

trust me mate both these player where brought up to play as strikers we then turned them into wingers or tried with mackay they prefer to play up front walsh is still developing I would rather have mackay than sheilds our team is basically the same as last year so far and competitive football round corner so the likes of mackay aird walsh callager will get there chance just now expect loan deals near the end of window

The problem with the current team is that there are still players there who played and failed last season. Clark, Aird, Bell, Zaliukis, Templeton, Law and Crawford. We were poor all over the park, had no flair or real goal threat. If u think we only need a couple of players one of which would have to be a keeper then be prepared for yet another poor season. Warburton may be a good coach but he isn't a miracle worker. I agree about a smaller squad but there is still plenty of deadwood at the club and we do need another 5 or 6 quality players
