I think some who post on here spend too much time at the bar before and after each game! How can anyone say Mackay is poor! Barrie looks great on the ball and you expect something from him every time he has the ball at his feet. The one thing I'd like to see him do is stick the ball past the defender and run to the byline. His cross for Waghorn's sitter was class. Zelalem is a great young player always looking for the ball. He will develop into a smashing player. Ball was classy too in the holding role and Waghorn, despite his missed sitter, never gave up. O'Halloran will add more to the team and I think we must focus on the priority of winning the Championship and going up. Having said that, I think we'll beat Killie at their ground as they'll actually have to try and cross the halfway line once or twice! Rangers looked like the SPL team yesterday and we'll do great when we go up as champions.

Actually thought Kille had the best chance of the match when their player skinned 2 players and forced a good save from Foderingham. Also if Ball was so good in the holding role then surely that means Kille must have had a bit more of the play than your giving them credit for?

Biffo. A team is surely going to make a chance or two during a game. Are you saying Killie deserved the draw? Or even that they should have won because they are in the league above?
Ball was playing in the midfield and broke up their play brilliantly in my eyes. And remember Celtic also drew 0-0 with Killie at Parkheid not so long ago. If you look at the stats for that game they are similar to ours. Are we really that far away from them, Aberdeen and Hearts? Don't see it.

Where did I say Killie should have won? I'm just saying I thought they had the best chance of the match. I also think they looked dangerous at times too. For your second point I do believe that both Aberdeen and Hearts are better than us too just now. We had 19 shots on goal but only 5 on target. That's a poor ratio and worrying looking ahead.

Biffo how can you say Kilmarnock had the best chance? Waghorn missed 2 clearcut that should and would have been tap ins on another day, Ball had a good game not because Kilmarnock had a lot of play but because he was composed and looked the part and made a few good passes and interceptions, as for Forrester, he has been gradually getting better each week but agree that he hasn't got much time and can't see him being here next season unless we are still in the championship.

Sorry was just confused as to why you brought up the Killie chance? Don't know what relevance this has?

Doiger, great post and obviously a man with sense looking at the big picture. I couldn't have put it better. Totally agree.

Lads, I agree, I think we had the better chances and should have won. Having said that, its very clear that we need an out and out penalty box goal scorer to take the chances we create, cue O'halloran? I hope so. We have to be winning games like that, no question. Thought big kiernan was outstanding, hope he and wilson will prove me wrong.

I agree with WeeCubby1872. Waghorn had two great chances and Forrester also had a very good chance. Halliday was unlucky with his shot in the second half (a great save from their goalie) and we hit the post and the bar! Killie had a good header in the first half and another shot that Foderingham saved with his head. Every team is going to create the odd chance but Killie were never at the races, especially in the 2nd half. As I've already said we should have won 4-0.

I brought it up as it happened during the match in which this blog discusses. I'm sorry if you found it confusing.

Wee Cubby

The Kilmarnock player was about 6 yards out with the whole of the goal in front of him and hit Foderingham with it. Yeah we also had some clear cut chances to but thought his was easiest. Really surprised about the reaction to my comment. Seems a few people on here are very sensitive today.

Biffo we have better players than Kilmarnock therefore our chance is easier than theirs, that chance was at an angle and a really don't think it was that clear of a chance, Martyn Waghorn missed two sitters in my opinion and Harry Forrester should have scored aswell but hey that's the way I see it.
