Anyone who thinks Alan Hutton is a good option for us, only needs to watch the highlights of Villa vs Newcastle.
He loses possession just outside the Newcastle box then casually jogs back as Newcastle attack. He makes no effort, has no drive or desire, just observes play. like a Sunday league player hoping the ball gets booted out of the park so he can get an extra couple of minutes breather before actually having to do some work.
If only he wasn't on 30,000 a week!

Okay one game, having watched hutton for years he is 10times the player tavernier will ever be and better than any other right back in Scotland.

Hutton's Ok going forward but has been a bomb scare defensivley for the last few seasons. Tav's all round a far better player.

Tav can strike a descent ball sometimes. But most time balloons it there's more to being a footballer than shooting. Especially when your a defender.

Have to agree with cee. Far far better than tav. Anyone who doesn't see that is blind, he is a brilliant player going forward. He, s torn some top fullbacks to shreds at times.
