The Manager has to address the back 4. Not good enough. Basic defending at set pieces. What's Weir seeing in training? Apart from that, not far away. Need a centre mid to be feared and a natural poacher up front. Yes, we need investment also so hopefully King or someone else will step up. Yes, Celtic are ahead of us at the moment but not that far. Possibly 4 good signings could close the gap. Happy New Year fellow Gers Fans. All the best for 2017.

The manager has had a year and a half to address the back 4 and has failed. If you think we are only 4 players away from competing with them then your off your head. We are miles behind them and the gap is only going to get bigger with Warburton in charge.

I think if the forwards scored half the chances we have, then the back 4 wouldn't get just as much flak.
They get away with murder and don't get anywhere near same criticism.

Dave King splashing serious cash in January, yeah sure.

Fans really need to let the guy know that we want transparency as he promised - and no, a Q&A with the questions vetted by our PR company doesn't count.

We deserve an explanation about his 30million spiel.

We at least competed yesterday but we are clearly miles behind Celtic and we aren't going to get near to them in the league with signings from Accrington Stanley and crocked players past their best.

Personally I have already written off next year's league.

A gloomy post for me to start the New Year on but it is how I feel.

The back four are consistently criticised but what about our midfield and attack. Our midfield is a joke and our attack has scored less than two goals a game.

If we had a quality midfield a quality attack and a leader on the park then we could get by with our defence but our midfield is a joke and Miller apart our strikers could't score in a brothel!

This club needs investment, it needs two quality midfield players and a quality striker. Ideally it also needs a holding midfield player that knows how to play the game. We will only acquire these players with proper funds. Two questions arise, does King have the funds and is Warburton the man to spend them. Given the track record of both to date I suspect that we have no on both counts!

I agree, if Dave King was watching yesterday he must realise that its obvious where we need strengthening - right down the middle spine of the team, let's hope something happens in this transfer window, or we'll be very lucky to finish second.
