This is more like it! Alves and Pena deals done and Jack and Dorrans likely to be signed very soon. Already the quality of these signings is higher than anything Warburton achieved. If we can add Patterson and maybe one more we've a real chance of closing that gap. A choice of Dorrans, Jack, Pena, Rossiter and Kranjcar in midfield is very strong with perhaps Holt and Windass as back ups.

Bengy, Hearts did not release Holt, they wanted to keep him however when he heard we wanted him he made his choice.

We are signing players to start, but we're going to have to retain some of the present squad, reducing them to squad players.

Deila's team were pretty mediocre until Rodgers came in and added a few quality additions. The previous players raised their game. Hopefully the same can happen with us?

Last season we lacked leaders and match winners. If you inject a higher calibre of player, the current players will either rise to the challenge or finally be dismissed. We can afford to pay them all off. The likes of Halliday will dig his heels in, hoping that the current storm passes.

I think with a backbone of quality signings the players who let us down this season will come good. Too many raw and inexperienced players in the 1 team

Halliday and Kiernan will be released, they will be no where near the squad never mind the first team. Others like Garner, Holt and Windass, I suspect, will work hard and perform better with better players around them.
