I'm liking the timing of the news of the new scouting network which includes Bomber Brown. We don't currently have a manager but by announcing this network now before we get a new manager says to me the football structure is the most important thing long term. Now any possible manager knows the structure that is now being implemented so he will have to work within this remit while of course having his own ideas. Therefore I feel it is a good move to announce this now rather than appoint a manager first. Moving in right direction hopefully. Onwards and upwards Gers.

I would also think any new manager is going to be interviewed by Allen too see if the potential new manager has the right ideas to go with the structure set up by Allen as everyone has to be pulling in the same direction.

This makes me think there's a good chance it will be McInnes or an Englishman

supercoopereleven. what makes u think Derek McInnes couldn't work with DOF? It's all irrelevant anyway. If he gets an interview and offered the job then he will take it in a minute.

Supercoop he's young in terms of manager so he's still learning his trade this should make him adapt well to a different structure also the fact he probably wants the job will make him work around it.

Why would he not want to his life gets made easier he gets to concentrate on running the first team and not running the full club. Obviously he will want assurances when it comes to player recruitment that he has his input but I would think anyone coming in will get that or it won't work out well

McInnes will never do. Too used to being ripped a new one from the dark side. Other managers in the top flight have done much better against them. Murty, Lennon, Wright. Btw I am just making a point. I wouldn't want the Lurgan bigot anywhere near us!
