Miller and Wallace is a smokescreen. This is to deflect from the board. So the board are right behind Murty and are showing this by suspending the players? The same Murty who won't be there soon? . They could have kept this in-house and just not picked the two players. Pollock and Arthurlie are run better than us. Celtic for 10 in a row ? . aye and the rest.

Got Mr traynor wrote all over it. How can we deflect oh wait 2 guys who are not playing they shall deflect our current situation.

2.) 17 Apr 2018 14:29:57
Well said Dutch 👍 totally agree with u regarding the board. what a shower of shi## they are

3.) 17 Apr 2018 23:46:24
Bang on mate, and it could be 15 in a row at this rate

4.) 17 Apr 2018 23:48:12
Settle down! A wee bit fight in the dressing room that would have been better seen on the park and dutch has us in trouble for the next 3+ seasons! Nothing like over reacting!

Miller won’t be here next season and rumours Wallace will be back to Hearts as he doesn’t fancy challenging John for the LB jersey. He’s supposedly been fit last few weeks but actually declared himself unfit before Sunday’s game.
Players come and go but we as fans always remain.
Time for us all to focus on supporting the team.

I'm going to throw myself on a grenade here, but I was talking to somebody who I know is very aware of the goings on at Ibrox and he told me Murty will not be in the job next season. I know it's an I know a guy who knows a guy who knows the guy who wired the hare at Shawford story but there you go.

And for the record I think it's pants as well. I didn't want Murty, but apart from not putting on Cummings earlier and not using Miller then I think he's doing a good job.

Dutch

1.) 14 Mar 2018 07:23:23
Dutch, if someone told you that much surely he mentioned some names of who our new manager is likely to be mate? If he told you its definitely NOT going to be murty, then he must have an incling of who the board are looking at? I would have thought! For the record i think graeme murty WILL be appointed our permanent manager in the summer!

2.) 14 Mar 2018 09:13:28
Murty has got all the players playing well they all like him.
If the board did decide to disrupt this harmony in the squad and togetherness and get a new manager in charge then it better be a very good manager.
An that manger will gave to hit the ground running if not then it will be the board that will be packing there bags next we can not afford any more mistakes.

3.) 14 Mar 2018 09:47:29
Or its somebody that has worked with murty or nicholl and will keep them on, can't see it though, for the record i'm the same super

4.) 14 Mar 2018 10:29:22
porky pies all day long if you said sombody in ibrox told you or knows the goings on at ibrox then name him are you trying to tell us if murty goes and wins the scottish cup and finishes 2nd he won't get the job

5.) 14 Mar 2018 10:32:50
murty will get the job full time, only problem is can he get any better tactical wise, after last sundays game he should take notice of how to put opponents to bed once he holds the advantage, not the disadvantage brenda was in

6.) 14 Mar 2018 10:34:03
As much as I was sceptical about Murty being appointed, I must say he's been a breath of fresh air when compared with Warburton and Pedro and the players appear to like him and has them playing for him. His inexperience showed on Sunday with the lack of subs at the correct time but he WILL learn from this and together with Mark Allen I can see another good transfer window this summer (hopefully to sort the defence) and give Murty a full season to see what he can do.

7.) 14 Mar 2018 11:40:11
I agree although I admit I am at a crossroads as to whether or not I just like the guy or if he is actually good for the club going forward. The way he handles the media is superb and he says all the right things. But I can’t help but think we need a proper manager in. I’ll withhold further judgment as I want to see what he can do when we have the likes of Dorrans back who I think would be hugely influential

8.) 14 Mar 2018 11:40:39
Truebluesotrue, can't believe your asking, can murty improve tactically! Of course murty can and will improve tactically with experience of being in the job! He's no dunderheed and is willing to learn and improve and will only get better and better, imo anyway!

9.) 14 Mar 2018 12:04:41
The board were split when he got the job and decided to follow the suggestion of Mark Allen, whose choice was Murty after the McInnes fiasco. I believe Allen was not very happy at the prospect of employing McInnes. I hear he has not changed his mind and believes Murty is growing into the job very well and is happy with the way things are progressing. It is also strongly rumoured that they have a host of potential signings they want to talk to. That's why I think Murty will be given another year.

10.) 14 Mar 2018 14:51:22
I would be seriously surprised if Murty wasn't given the job next season, because the effort he has put in since taking over and the dynamic of the team since then has been great.
Him and Jimmy Nicholl and a fantastic pairing and will bring silverware back to Ibrox next season, my spidey senses can feel it!

11.) 14 Mar 2018 15:46:29
Murty is growing into the job. If he goes on a run now and lifts the cup the job is his and rightly so.

I wanted Derek McInnes, I wanted Neil Warnock, I wanted Billy Davies. If I go months back to a previous txt and I did say, to be fair, that I would really like Frank Lampard or John Terry as per the Souness era. Apologies Mr Gerrard for not including you in this but it really was just a pipe dream. I never thought that we would actually go down this road. Football is full of highs and lows. If you don't have the lows then you can't fully enjoy the highs. When Souness (God) came we had, in my opinion, the worst Rangers team in living memory. This current team. God bless them. isn't much better. So now along comes Steven Gerrard. If I had a tail I would wag it. I am delighted. Credit where it is due Mr King. well done.

I think he has a house near Dunoon. I would take him in a minute. As we all know this is a rumour but one which I believe is possible if Cardiff don't go up.

Der-goalie-1 believe me please. Tav couldn't defend if his life depended on it . but. going forward he is excellent. His deliveries are brilliant. Have you any idea how difficult it is to do that chip he did last week for Murphy when he should have scored. If we play 3 at the back he is a must. He runs more than Forest Gump. 4 at the back then naw but wide of a 5 man midfield then yes.

Stuz. did u actually watch the game? Halliday didn't get roasted. he didn't play badly at all. In fact, he played quite well. That's just a cheap shot at a guy who isn't the best player I have ever seen but is miles from the worst. He's an easy target. Get aff his back ya humf. slagging Rangers players should be like slagging somebodies mum. out of bounds.

I spoke to a good source tonight. a journalist and he didn't know . its his job to know so if he doesn't know then we really are all guessing. Good news was that he didn't laugh and say no!

I would also want Warnock but the hope that I have from all this Stevie G stuff is that i'm convinced that he will not come to Rangers if there is no money to spend. So surely if the board are indeed in talks then there must be money becoming available. I might be clutching at straws and in dreamland but my thoughts are that finally we must have a huge investment coming our way. mind u. just to burst my own bubble. . we r talking about McGregor, Arfield and McArthur who r all free transfers. . I give up, I have no idea what's happening but Gerrard will def not take the job if there is no money.
