Does anyone else think we are sometimes playing a little too cautious with 2 defensive midfielders? Now I think Murty is doing an outstanding job but I think certainly against lesser teams we could play with just 1 sitting in front of the back four and use the spare player as a partner for Morelos? What's everyone's thoughts? Would make our formation 4-1-3-2 instead of 4-2-3-1.

Naw it mean your 1 cdm would be over run as the 3 play further up the park than a conventional midfield I think!

Totally understand your point but I think the continuity in the team helps the boys gel quickly and that has been the most Impressive think murty has achieved. getting the 11 playing very well in large spells together. If the same formation can beat Ayr and Celtic there’s no need to upset that harmony I reckon.

Windass is supporting morelos. The team is playing well so why change it? I fancy him to go 2 up top today because of who we are playing but Docherty and goes compliment each other so he ain't going to change that

We have a front 4 morelos is spearhead and candieas Murphy and windass support its a very well balanced system, it's all going nicely changing to two up top would unbalance our whole side! Doc and Goss take turns to join in and also insurance when tav and john bomb on its the perfect system

Both will def play next week, think if Jamie Murphy is fit it will only be one up front
still think it will be Morales with Cummings on bench, would be hard on Jason after today but just my thoughts .

Agree, Murphy to return and Morelas to play up front. Although missed a few today his directness and physicality offers greater threat and creates space and chances for others. Cummings did great today and can make an impact off the bench next week. Would also like to see Dodoo on bench next week.
