SG would have ruled himself out by now if there were not a significant amount of cash on the table to rebuild this team, enough to make a serious challenge. You may question his potential as a manager, but neither he nor his advisors will be stupid. You would assume then that he is waiting for assurances. If that's the case, fantastic! It'll be an exciting summer. But.
Would you rather this cash went to an experienced hand and, do you think this new investment will mean a change in the boardroom is imminent?

I think it's a huge risk. Could go both ways but I think we need experience only my opinion tho. 2nd point is I hope so our board is a shambles

I did hear talk about money coming from
Canada last month but nothing new and even then that was just talk. Do you know anything concrete. I honestly can’t think of anyone who would invest in us. Sadly we are a basket case atm

The investment story is far more important than the manager, if the investment is not significant then nothing else matters. A change of direction and ownership would be great but I think king is quite stubborn and will want to take the credit if and when we regain some respectability.

Exactly, why would he take that job if he wasn’t going to be backed. It’s basically suicide if he is not given funds.

Mark Guidi has been saying for months that investment in some form is coming soon, he’s now saying that should come out with the Gerrard appointment. Something is happening anyway
