A Share issue for a poxy 6 million top line. I'm sorry Dave that isn't going to cut it. We need serious investment in our squad to give us a chance to catch Celtic. I pray to god DK you have other money up your sleeve, would be disappointed if SG was coming here with a kitty based on the share issue. Sadly had my hopes raised today for a wealthy investor and again have had my hopes dashed by the board.

99% of fans on here are gutted at this news. All the chat was about big investment to give SG a chance to catch Celtic and now we have been let down AGAIN

The board had no need to call a press meeting today, this was deliberately done on Friday to fool supporters into thinking that they were about to announce something big when they could have told the gathered press last week that there was no investment and they were talking to no one but chose to call a briefing today, this was to allow the fans to get excited about what might be off the back of the Gerrard appointment and renew season tickets before turning up Monday and saying “oh it was nothing important”, “nothing to see here”, “move along”, “don’t forget to buy your season books as we really need the money “. Total nonsense.
